You should know by now that the tag gives the RP owner permission to novelize the RP.
There are many worlds in existence. In each world, natural laws differ just a bit, so that the human society — the only thing common to each plane — plays out just a bit differently. Needless to say, there are many mysteries surrounding these worlds. The Panpatiron National Center for Planar Discovery, an offshoot of Panpatiron University, is dedicated to finding them.

Among their most intriguing findings are the following:

•Worlds are prevented from interacting by layers of magical "defenses" that have been entitled Angel Gates.

•It is theoretically possible to use an Angel Gate to "teleport" to other worlds; however, doing thus requires a method of transport currently inaccessible to their plane.

•The many planes are, for the most part, other worlds in which humans can use magic.

•The world in which Panpatiron is located, Mundus Ferrugineus, happens to be adjacent to the only one that doesn't have magic — naturally, it is entitled Mundus Sine Magicis.

•Based on the curves in the "lattice" of Angel Gates, it can be determined that Mundus Sine Magicis is central to the few worlds discovered thus far.

•The entities that make magic possible, the Eight Deities, seem to be located in Mundus Sine Magicis.

•Most importantly, one warlord named Soktiel is in possession of an appropriate method of transport to reach Mundus Sine Magicis. He is leading his armies there as the Angel Gate allows, and his intentions can't be good.

Soktiel's twin sons, passionate Alsaus and ambitious Oltan, have a method of circumventing their father's plans. Girls between the ages of 6 and 18 on Mundus Sine Magicis are capable of learning magic anyway, for reasons yet unknown. Because Soktiel wanted his sons to be able to contact him, he left a communicator behind that allows telepathic conversation with anyone in Mundus Sine Magicis. Alsaus is recruiting girls attending Panpatiron-sponsored primary and secondary schools to use these communicators on girls in Mundus Sine Magicis, hoping to use the magical girls to stop Soktiel's attack. Each selected girl has an affinity for a certain deity.

Soktiel is covering his tracks, however, and his armies and spies are going to great lengths to ensure that Panpatiron and associates can't follow him. To that end, Oltan is leading "armies" of Panpatiron's elite combat students in an effort to recover the transporter and lead more magical girls to Mundus Sine Magicis and thwart his father.

All the while, the government must not be aware of the goings-on, or there will be an attempted cover-up — complete with mass executions. Regnum Silvestris is not known for its intelligent bureaucracy.

You are either a Panpatiron student or one of the girls chosen by Alsaus's "tutors." Either way, you must stop Soktiel from seizing the powers of the Eight Deities. Good luck.
A mage has the title added to their name just before the last name, like "van" or "von."

 • Uriel — Deity of Enchantment //Uriel's followers prefer conventional combat... using magical weapons they've created beforehand. Their title is "ves."
 • Epissalax — Deity of Heat //Epissalax's followersv Play With Fire. This applies too, though. Their title is "ven."
 • Acalat — Deity of Slowness //They slow stuff down. Possibly to the point where it freezes. Ice control is easy; the rest is a lot harder. Their title is "wot."
 • Idalcizee — Deity of Liquid //They make splashes with any liquid. Their title is "vel."
 • Nazon — Deity of Healing //Need I say more? Their title is "soh."
 • Nib Xanha — Deity of Darkness //In the sense of concealment. They turn things invisible, lie without being detected, influence thoughts, and other such stealth-related tasks. They aren't such huge fighters, though. Their title is "tod."
 • Texecael — Deity of Command //They possess inanimate objects and the like. The really powerful ones can possess people.
 • The others are, as of now, irrelevant.
Been a while since I've made an RP. It's quite a refreshing return, especially considering the tone of the series.

In quintessence, this is mean to emulate a magical girl show. However, there are catches. For one thing, we've got both the Cute Witch and the Magic Warrior in the same show.

Gameplay is divided into "episodes." At the beginning of an episode, I will post the NPC-based introduction to the episode. Goings-on continue until roughly a chapter's worth of action has been dealt with, at which point the RP will be compiled and novelized. Meanwhile, the next episode will already have begun.

Please note that the Advanced Clause will always apply for this. I oughtn't need to tell you that for the plot's sake, godmodding must be completely prohibited.

Should I Be Credited? Yes

Character Name: Asuka Fujiwara

Character Gender:

Character Age: 17

Character's Patron: Uriel

Character's Magic Level: 10

Character Role: Warrior

Character Personality: Asuka is a very bold and rambunctious person. During her classes, she often acts as the class clown and gets detention regularly. She is very athletic, but refuses to join any athletic clubs, due to her recruitment as a magic warrior.

Character Appearance: Average height, tough frame, mid sized bust. Blonde hair, lower back length, let loose during school, ponytailed with a grey ribbon during physical activity. Large yellow eyes that burn with determination. When tutoring, she wears a warrior's outfit consisting of a highly polished steel breastplate, gauntlets, fauld and greaves over a black vest and shorts that exposes her midriff and an area on her legs from the middle of her thighs to her knees. Her sword, Ivory Dawn, is a massive white two handed cleaver. It has a metre long blade that is 30 millimetres long and 5 millimetres thick. Its hilt is decorated with a single clear gem.
Should I Be Credited? Ah, but of course. ;D

Character Name: Numia tal Van Pantryvasen il Vonne

Character Gender:

Character Age: 17

Character's Patron: Uriel, though there are rumours that she might have struck a pact with another "deity".

Character's Magic Level: 6

Character Role: Tutor

Character Personality: Numia tal Van Pantryvasen il Vonne (friends, if she has any, calls her Numia) is a most pleasant young girl, or that's what your academic superiors have quizzically suggested during their long and drawn out staff meetings in where coffee flows like water and worthless arthritic old wizards wave their wands lethargically in the air. To be truth, at the class level, Numia is drawn out and generally antisocial. She remains a pleasant demeanor, but Epissalax help you if you attempt to get close to her. Her status in social relationships is nothing short of rock bottom, though she remains happy and spunky nevertheless in the workplace and classroom. She also retains an unhealthy (even for a young sorceress such as herself) obsession, even fanaticism, for her Patron deity. Her study on her deity leaks into a neurosis, yet Numia has remained both a contribution to class discussion and also makes many humorous and wry remarks that spread amusement throughout her workplace and classroom. It is also rumored that she may have prepared her long obsessed over deity, and made a pact with... another. The question is, whom?

Character Appearance: I know, I was lazy. >.< So sue me. Oh wait, you can't. Anonymity and all.
Should I Be Credited? If you feel my contribution is adequate, sure.

Character Name: Alice Veil

Character Gender: ♀

Character Age: 9

Character's Patron: Epissalax

Character's Magic Level: 3

Character Role: Tutor

Character Personality: Most would agree that Alice possesses absolutely no capacity for a task as delicate as instructing another person in magic. And they'd be right. Alice suffers from a gross inability to concentrate on a single task, as she quickly grows bored of anything she's made to do. Furthermore, she's considerably weak in magic, mostly due to the fact that her powers have not fully developed yet, and she still lacks refined control over her spellcraft. Coupled with her carefree personality and tendency to not take anything seriously, she would be one of Panpatiron's worst candidates for a tutor - if not for her seemingly infinite charisma that enables her to get on the good side of nearly anyone she meets, quickly becoming friends with even total strangers. It was due to this capacity that Alice was chosen as a tutor, but her overwhelming excitement upon receiving the news has been a source of unease amongst her teachers.

Character Appearance:

-Physique: Petite

-Height: 1.40m

-Face: Round

-Complexion: Light

-Hair Color: Black

-Hair Style: Bunches

-Eye Color: Blue

Clothing (as of introduction):

-Top: A simple red blouse with long sleeves that even cover the hands.

-Bottom: A knee-length black skirt.

-Shoes: Simple red sandals.

-Accessories: Red ribbons on her hair. A slim silver necklace.

Change character type; Warriors are necessarily from Mundus Sine Magicis, and a "tutor" affiliated with the same deity doesn't exist yet. Make her a tutor/student and you'll be fine.

This is kinda random, but I just happened to drop by, and can't help noticing Mundus Sine Magicis is incorrect. Magicis is part of the adjectival form of the word, stemming from magicus, and is often incorrectly used. The actual word for magic is magia, which, as sine takes the ablative, would go to magiis. So, it'd be Mundus Sine Magiis. We get magic from magicae artes - the magical arts.

@Deucalion: I'm using the plural ablative of "magice;" it's more of the "world without arcana."

@O-sama: She'd turn out better as a warrior to Davok's tutor, maybe.

@Davok: Accepted, if only because I wanna see why Numia's going to be charitable enough to teach a normal Earth (because that's what MSM really is; I wasn't fooling anyone) girl how to battle evil.

@Rinne: Reservation accepted.

Ah, I see. You could always double the i to Magiciis to make that entirely clear, as adjectives don't double like nouns can.

Anyway, I feel mean for posting that and not applying, so:
Should I Be Credited? Yes plx.

Character Name: Αἴας Αγγηλου (Anglicised: Ajax Angelou)

Character Gender:

Character Age: 17

Character's Patron: Ζεύς (Anglicised: Zeus) (the name of Uriel in his homeworld, they are one and the same)

Character's Magic Level: 6

Character Role: Mundus Sine Magicis citizen

Character Bio: While he was born in Mundus Sine Magicis, his parents are political exiles from Mundus Portus, and as such, he has a basic grasp of magic, although his potential has been stunted due to his magicless environment. They fled their from the fierce civil wars that wracked Mundus Portus, because nobody would think they would flee to a mostly magic-less world. Ajax has had for the most part an entirely normal Mundus Sine Magicis upbringing.

Character Personality: Ajax is fairly likeable, and gets on with people well. The only person he doesn't particularly like is himself, and he tends to see his flaws rather more deeply than other people would. He's fairly bright, but nothing exceptional. One of his strongest advantages is how calm he is - he can handle difficult situations well. He also obeys both personal rules, and the rules of an authority, and dislikes the notion of rebelling.

Character Appearance: __character_concept___Perseus_by_47ness.jpg

I'll expand on his personality slightly if this is accepted. It probably won't be, but I just wanted to explore the world you had set out a little. =P

It would be, save that they call it Mundus Sine Magicis (Magiciis?) for a reason. Only girls aged 7 through 17 can use magic at all, and though it won't be disclosed yet, there is a good reason for that.

Oh, the reason will be clear enough later on. ;D Here's a hint, it has something to do with the "deity" that Numia has recently began worshiping. Wink, wink, chuckle, chuckle

BUMP

Fine' date=' I'll be the student, but one question:

Even though Uriel's servants are physical based, shouldn't they have some degree of magic to enhance their strength and weapons?

[/quote']

They enchant the weapons and armor themselves long before the battle; they use magic tools rather than battle magic.

In this case, they can. Enchanted armor works as well; Pegasus Boots, Silver Gauntlets, and the like are fully possible.
