Guest PikaPerson01
Correct. But how many times might your opponent Synchro Summon Lightsworn only mains one tuner' date=' Plaguespreader Zombie. If they get it off they're probably attempting to swing for game. They only Synchro once, if they even bother to Synchro at all. Blackwings, I'm not too sure of. I hear they have some new stuff with Vayu called "Vayu Turbo" or something, but I assume since it has the world "Turbo" in it, it's meant to be an OTK deck, which means all you can do to help you is activate traps or quick plays. The only commonly run traps that destroy are Torrential and Mirror Force. Zombies, maybe. Even though they run one tuner, it can be reused rather quickly. Diva DAD, or any of the other fruity decks that aim to get a level 8 Synchro out quickly will practically always aim to get Stardust out first, so destruction outside of battle becomes rather difficult. Gladiator Beasts, not very likely. The few that tech X-Saber Airbellum might see some significant loss, especially since with the loss of Solemn they become more open to moves that destroy. Then again if they can get out Heraklinos quick enough, destruction by S/Ts shouldn't be a problem, and attempting to be destroyed by battle shouldn't be a problem either (since most run Shrink or Waboku.) Then there are the people who suggest Synchro summoning your own monster (a -1) then using creature swap (another -1), destroying it (a 1-1) and then activating this (a +1), for a grand total of a combo that leaves you at -1. Those people should honestly just quit the game. and how easily would you be able to destroy it then activate this? Not much you can do against a deck meant to OTK like Vayu Turbo. Likewise, LS typically gun for a Synchro when they're about to win the game anyway, which leaves us with only the two already mentioned traps to stop them. Zombies, unless you can frequently and consistently summon a monster with around 2500 attack to beat Ha Des, I don't see it working outside of S/Ts. Likewise, Glads may leave themselves open by Synchro something without much protection. Level 8 based synchro decks typically go for Stardust, so destruction is very rare, outside of battle. I'd like to see a deck that can summon beatsticks that huge, that quickly. I personally think this card would work best against Zombies or Gladiators that main Airbellum. The problem with that is that you're not even aiming for the primary win condition with the aforementioned card, along with the fact that there's better things to side against Glads and Zombies respectively. So yeah... I think it's a bad card because it doesn't hit the actual main threats of the decks it's supposed to be hitting, and that way better more versatile stuff exists. Master Hyperion
its a f***ing +3 ¬_¬ It's a +1 at best when you destroy the Synchro monster by battle, while the same thing can be accomplished by simply using Reckless Greed. Sure, you are forced to skip your next 2 Draw Phases, but it activation requiments aren't nearly as situational as Greed Grado. Plus, Reckless Greed can be stacked on more easily then Greed Grado, since Greed Grado requires to kill a Synchro monster, while Reckless Greed can be activated at anytime. And when you destroy a Synchro with a card effect, it's a +0, meaning it Greed Grado and the card that killled the Synchro Monster only replaces itself with 2 other cards, like Destiny Draw, Allure and Trade-In, except Destiny Draw, Allure and Trade-In aren't redicilious situational. So please, explain to us how this card is a +3.
~ P O L A R I S ~
I can see this as pretty nice in the Side Deck. I wouldn't Main it with Anti-Meta and Synchro-less GBs running around. And LS. Basically the main Decks next format. =/ A Quick-Play Pot of Greed is nothing to scoff at though when you can pull it off, so I'd throw it in if ever you met Tele-DARK or something along those lines. And when you destroy a Synchro with a card effect' date=' it's a +0[/quote'] Not necessarily, and I think what Toni meant was that 3 of these and once wasn't a +6 as others were claiming. BulletMan
I meant +6 hand. Read, carefully. If you activate 3 of these at once, then it's +3, 1 would be +1 or lower, depending on how you destroyed the Synchro.
