Max Darkness
Well' date=' I may just have to look for one of those. My two of my friends use a Synchro deck, while the other one uses a Machina Force deck. That would work well against either of them. How much did it cost you Max?[/quote'] RFP obliterates most Synchros, especially "Stardust" since it can't do anything to stop RFPing. Each one was £5.90 ($10?) on Amazon. @Max: RFP Decks aren't that fast or powerful. That's their main drawback. "Reinforcement of the Army" and "Allure of Darkness" can speed them up quite a bit. Especially if combined with Spell recyclers. And say they're not powerful when you have an 8000 ATK "Gren Maju Da Eiza" bearing down on you, or "D.D. Dynamite" blows away 6000 Life Points in one shot. RFP may not be hugely fast, but they can last and will finish dramatically.
Headmaster Monokuma
You like blowing opponents up, don't you Max? I may look for that just becuase it seems like a fun deck type.
Max Darkness
Oh I love it. It's a serious problem. I've ended a lot of duels with "D.D. Dynamite" or "Cemetery Bomb" inflicting huge burn damage. In fact, "Lightsworns" set themselves up for a Cemetery Bomb since they mill so hard. So simply mill their trumps straight to the Grave, and then blow them up for it.
Headmaster Monokuma
Ha! Don't you love it when a deck sets up it's own defeat?
Shadow Zero
That is why building the ultimate deck is so hard. You need a deck that is all holy powerful with no weaknesses to be exploited, and that's a hard tyhing to accomplish.
Max Darkness
It's even more satisfying when you don't expect it to. Got "Dimensional Fissure" and "Soul Absorption" out on my first turn and proceeded to face a mill Deck. Pretty quickly my RFP Zone was increasing in size and so where my Life Points. After a while, I summoned, "Gren Maju Da Eiza" which had over 5000 ATK due to my huge number of RFPed cards and my own Life Points where in the 14000s. Needless to say, I won that duel. Maverik
lol... i remember this one time.... i was facing a guy who use lightsworns, and i was running a RFP deck... i had inferno tempest face down.... he attacked me directly with Judgement dragon(that had Malevolent Nuzzler equipped to it).... so i activated infreno tempest... he ended his turn... i then activated Return from a D.D and brought back 3 Maja Da Eiza's.... he had 40 monster RFP and i Had 25.... can you geuss who won? Max Darkness
I usually play the Life Point gain strategy with "Inferno Tempest". Have "Soul Absorption" face-up then activate it when you take damage. With luck, you'll gain up to 30000LP, rendering you near-invincible. (Suddenly, paying 2000 Life Points for "Demise" to wipe the field clean doesn't seem like a lot). FYI, my record is 22800LP. (Set it on the first turn, and my opponent Synchroed "Red Demon's Dragon". His Deck was obliterated!)
chrid97
@Maverik: Put some clothes on >.> @Max: Thats a lot. What was the higest amount of ATK your monster has?
Max Darkness
Erm...9200 ATK I think. *Checks Word Document where he's recorded his biggest victories. Notices the one titled "RFP Obliteration".* I tell a lie. The biggest was when I was first starting out. Newbie had a Deck stuffed with Tuners to Synchro (something like 35 monsters and combined 25 Spells and Traps). It was few turns in; I set "Inferno Tempest" and ended. He Synchroed "Thought Ruler Archfiend" and activated "Mystic Plasma Zone". I took the 3200 damage and activated "Inferno Tempest", RFPing almost all his Deck(!) It was something like 20 monsters from me and 30 from him. I then activated "Soul Absorption", "Dark Core" and "Soul Release", taking me up to around 11000 LP and my own RFP Zone up to around 30. Summoned "Gren", which now had just shy of 12000 ATK. Crushed his Defense Position monster then activated "D.D. Dynamite", burning 9000 LP in one go. EDIT: If anyone wants to duel on YGO Network, the pass is Newb
