On a Pokemon note, in HG I've got a Victreebel (surprisingly good), a Kingdra (Clair, destroyed by the very monster you use) and I caught Ho-oh in a Premier Ball (I know, rather anti-climatic). Starmie's fast and high in Sp Atk, but poor in everything else; in fact the only other Water-Types I'd use would be Milotic due to its great stats and moveset (Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse and Recover) or Crawdaunt because of it's brutal ATK and quite large number of moves.
