@ Everyone: More experimentation with the Zero Monster idea:

p><p>If your opponent selects a different face-up Zero Monster you control as an attack or effect target, you can change the target to this card. Once per turn, if a Level 4 or lower non-Minus monster you control would be destroyed by battle, it is not and any Battle Damage to this card

Simple thought that these two are counterparts of each other. Integral to the story, but unlike the Five Dragons (who are allied with each other) this pair were created to destroy each other.

Effect: 1 Level 6 Insect-Type Plus Monster + 1 Level -6 Insect-Type Minus Monster

In order to Special Summon this card, add the Level of 1 Plus monster to the Level of 1 Minus monster you control; the value must equal 0.

When this card is Zero Summoned, destroy 1 face-up non-Insect-Type monster on the field. If this card is Special Summoned, except by Zero Summon, flip 1 face-up non-Insect-Type monster face-down. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, this card inflicts Piercing Damage OR this card gains 750 ATK, during the Damage Step only.

Another, less powerful Zero Monster. It seems the only way to determine the strength of a Zero Monster is to manipulate the Plus and Minus monsters used to summon it. Therefore, instead of only having Level 5 and above Plus and Minus monsters, they'll be of numerous Levels, but each Zero Monster will have specific (or near-specific) Level requirements.

Thoughts?

I need a tad bit help on one of my Accelerator Mode monsters.

Here it is, which is a new one.

Shinato, King of a Higher Plane / Accelerator Mode

267894.jpg

Lore

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with Accelerator Mode Activate or by its own effect. When this card destroys a Defense Position monster and sends it to the Graveyard as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the combined original ATK/DEF of the destroyed monster. If this is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon it during your End Phase with it's ATK increased by 200 and it is removed from play when it is removed from the field.

Click the card if you want more of an explanation on Accelerator Mode monsters.

@Max: I'm still wondering, how do you get a - monster out and what do they look like?

@Shadow and Necro: Listen to FDR, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself". probably not the right quote, but it works.

Necro Phoenix, this is not something that you leave alone. Talk to Sarah about it, although you should first ask her cousin why she is acting so meanly to you. Then act accordingly afterwards (which of course includes talking to Sarah about what you think the situation is and what you were told the situation is).

@ XzY: That is SO overpowered! Think about it. If you get "Shinato" out on your first turn (which is a distinct possibility when running a dedicated Ritual Deck), and then this out on the second turn (destroying the attacking monster as well), you have 3800 ATK bearing down on your opponent. And then even worse, if you destroy any generic Level 6 monster, you'll be dealing over 3000 damage to your opponent plus any battle damage. And then, once your opponent finally gets rid of it, you can re-summon it with first, 4000 ATK, then 4200, then 4400 and so on... As it's destroyed, it powers up further.

As for your question on Minus monsters:

Effect: This card's Level is treated as -6 while face-up on the field. You can Normal Summon or Set this card without Tributing. If you do, this card cannot declare an attack. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to return 1 card on the field to its owner's hand.

So, shadow, what do you think of my card?

@Max:Yea, I figured that would probably be so. But the assault mode monsters are overpowering of the original, so i thought the same with Accel Monsters. On the card lore, it says you can only do it once, then it is removed, well, I didn't say that, but I assumed it the way it is worded.

Is not Necro! xD

And I think that it's a pretty cool remake on the original. =3 And Maxie-kun, I would point your attention to the part of the effect of which clearly states that if the card is removed from the field after being re-Summoned from the Graveyard once already, that it would instead be removed from play.

Thanks shadow. But I still believe it is Op'd a little bit. But a little is better than a lot, b/c buster modes need to be a little more powerful than the original, right?

@Necro: That's odd, even if its a lightning storm, if their is rain, it makes me feel safe and I fall asleep right away at night that is.

@ XzY: Thanks, but the card is still overpowered. You should have this effect:

If this card destroys an Attack Position monster by battle, gain Life Points and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK.

Since that's much more like "Shinato"'s original effect, and they have to be linked.

Well, not exactly with my set of Accel monster having to be linked. Like for instance, I have a E-Hero Sparkman as an Effect monster in my new set. So, you are right, it is still over powered and I even know that, but I like the effect, but I might make a little difference in it. maybe lower the ATK/DEF or something. Would that work?
