DesCrow
Who said we need further reason than entertainment.I'm gonna guess you're easily scared and 12-13 years old.ALSOnew story. THE DOCTORIt was 1951 Berlin, the war was over. On a street corner, troops handed out rations to a large crowd. A woman was making her way towards the front of the crowd. Just after she received her rations a man in a trench coat, with a cane and blind glasses walked up to her. He said"Ma'am, would you mind taking this letter to a friend of mine? It's getting late and I have to head home soon, so I don't worry the misses. Thanks you."The woman thought, "he's blind, poor guy, and by the way he was dressed, probably a war vet. This address is on my way home, I guess I could take it.The woman bustled her way out of the crowd and set off for home. Just as she got free of the crowd, the man who handed her the letter darted behind into an alley. Except, he wasn't wearing his blind glasses or carrying his cane. The woman went to a nearby soldier and explained the situation. He agreed to follow her along with another soldier. They got to the house, and they told her to wait outside. They went in, and came running out a couple seconds later. They described to the woman that there were piles of limbs, torsos and heads in all different corners of the room, and there was blood everywhere. The woman, clearly shaken, fumbled to open the letter. It read"This is the last one I'm sending today" THE LETTER HOMEAn american soldier was kidnapped in Vietnam during the war. His mother hadn't gotten any letters from him in 6 months, and she was worried to death. Finally, one october day, a letter came. it read"Dear Mom, I have been captured. Please do not worry or inform the government. I am treated well, fed often, and am enjoying my time to the best of my abilities. Oh, and make sure you give this stamp to Jimmy for his collection. -Love, Adam."The mother was relieved and puzzled. Relieved he was okay, by wholly puzzled by the "Jimmy" part. Nonetheless she carefully ironed and peeled back the stamp. Underneath it, written in small, red letters it read"they cut off my legs" I've got 3 more, I'll post em later. Spiff!
This one has always stayed with me.It's...god, I can't describe it... Wake Up It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not wake up. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren’t being tortured. The only way that they realized they needed to wake up was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to wake up. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and please wake up.

Dark
The soldier was sending people to this guys house to get their limbs cut off. She was lucky and spared, because she didn't go in.
Spiff!
I don't really like the second one... All it is is an ingenious way of telling her the truth. The whole "it's great here" thing was so they'd let him send it. First one is better.
