Tyrannex - V2.6:

 

Name: Standard enough. No complaints.

Pic: This is a good one. Very yugioh-ish.

 

Effect:

gain = increase

 

Not a bad effect. Matches well with the card theme.

 

Survival of the Fittest:

 

Name: Cheesey and cliche. Perfect for a yugioh card.

Pic: Its pretty lol. I like it.

 

Effect:

"During each of your opponent's End Phase, destroy the monster with the lowest DEF, and inflict 500 damage its controller."

 

"During each of your End Phases, increase your Life Points by 700 if you control the monster with the highest ATK."

 

You don't need 'on the field' or 'face-up'. I'm pretty sure.

 

I like the idea behind this effect. I like it quite a bit, actually. The only part I'd change is allowing your opponent to have the LP gain ability also.

 

But overall, this is a great card. Everything matches up fantastically.

 

Supremacy:

 

Name: Works well with the pic

Pic: Where ever you found these, nice job. They're all in the same style, and they all work well for these cards.

 

 

Effect:

"Increase the ATK of each face-up monster you control by 300 for every monster on the field that has less ATK than it until the End Phase."

"A monster affected by this card"

 

Works very well with the card theme, but I'm not sure about the draw 2 at the end. I kind of feel it detracts from the overall flow.

 

Triceracycled:

 

Name: A pun title. Excellent.

Pic: Works as well as all the others.

 

Effect: Flows well, not so sure on the balance though.

 

Cyberdread Raptron:

 

Name: Good.

Pic: Works.

 

Effect: Solid.

 

Time Warp Vortex:

Name: fine

Pic: Fine.

 

Effect:

I like it, it fits the card theme well. Also pretty creative, imo.

 

Steam Mech - V0.6

 

name: eh, I guess it works.

Pic: Works.

 

Effect:

Uh, why WIND?

I don't like how the beginning is worded. I would put:

"Once per turn, during your End Phase, increase this card's ATK and DEF by 600."

 

Eh. I don't like this one so much. And it has nothing to do with dinosaurs! D:

 

Stegobore:

 

Name: good

Pic: Works.

 

Effect:

Pretty good, if really simple.

 

Scalerot:

 

Name: I like it

Pic: Fits

 

Effect:

"This card can only be equipped to a Dinosaur-Type monster."

Not bad.

 

Stealth Dino:

 

Name: Eh.

Pic: Also pretty eh.

 

Effect:

"When this card inflicts battle damage, your opponent must reveal their hand"

 

Decent.

 

Phantex Psyborg:

 

Name: pretty cool

Pic: Also pretty cool.

 

Effect:

"When this card declares an attack, it is placed face-up on top of your Deck after Damage Calculation."

"When you draw this face-up card, you can Special Summon it and draw again."

"...by its own effect, increase its ATK and DEF by 400."

 

ATK is a bit high for a 3 star, suggest moving it to 4.Reminds me of a Spirit, only cheaper. Still, not bad.

 

Hunting Instinct:

 

Name: Good

Pic: good.

 

Effect:

Pretty good, I would remove the 'cannot be destroyed by battle part'. I just don't like it.

 

 

Overall, I like this set. Has consistency with theme and overall creative and supportful effects. Nicely done.

I agree with 7thsorrow, Stegobore should have an effect that activates when he's flipped face up, though not necessarily a Flip Effect.

 

These cards work well together, and the effects are quite good, very original. Machine/Dinosaurs, a truly untapped storehouse of great pictures and cards. I really like that Steam Mech. I wish a card like that actually existed.
