This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While "Planetary Beast - Mercury" is in the Monster Card Zone adjacent to this card and there is no monster in the other adjacent Monster Card Zone, this card is treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

● As long as this card is face-up on the field, all face-up "Planetary Beast" monsters on your side of the field except "Planetary Beast - The Sun" cannot be destroyed by card effects.
