I wanted to make my first contest, so here it is.

 

[spoiler=Rules]These are the rules:

You must make a balanced effect monster card for each of the six attributes. I will be reviewing based on the picture used, the OCG, the name, and the effect.

 

 

[spoiler=Prize]The cost to join is 5 points. The winner will get 25 points, and 4 reps. Second place gets 15 points and 2 reps.

 

 

Post that you'll join, and pm me the cards when they're done.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]This card is also treated as a Sea Serpent-Type monster during either player's Battle Phase. If "Umi" or "Umiiruka" is on the field, this card cannot be destroyed by battle while in Attack Position. (Damage calculation is applied normally.) If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. If a WATER monster you control (except this card) is destroyed by battle, place 1 Flenge Counter on the attacking monster (max. 1). If a monster with a Flenge Counter attacks, it loses ATK equal to it's Level x 100, until the End Phase. Remove the Flenge Counter from the attacking monster during the End Phase of that turn.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]This card is also treated as a DARK Fiend-Type monster. Each time your opponent Summons a monster, place 1 Mist Counter on it (max. 5). Monsters gain 200 DEF for each Mist Counter on them. Once per turn, during your opponent's Battle Phase, you can pay 500 Life Points to place 1 Mist Counter on a monster your opponent controls. If a monster attacks with 1 or more Mist Counters on it, the controller of the targeted monster can change the attack target to another monster on his/her field. The controller of the targeted monster can use this effect as many times per turn as the number of Mist Counters on the 1st attacking monster during the Battle Phase of that turn.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]If this card was Special Summoned, you can select 1 Level 4 or lower FIRE monster on the field (except this card) and have it gain 400 ATK until the End Phase. If this card is destroyed by battle and your opponent controls more face-down Spell or Trap Cards than you do, remove this card from play. If this card was removed from play this way, the attacking monster cannot attack during your opponent's next Battle Phase.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]

You can Summon this card from your hand by removing from play 3 Insect-Type monsters you control. If you do, select 1 monster your opponent controls. The selected monster cannot attack or change Battle Positions until your next Main Phase 1. If the selected monster is removed from the field before this effect resolves, you can pay 500 Life Points to attack your opponent directly with this card. If you use this effect, destroy this card at the end of the Damage Step.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]Once per turn, during either player's Battle Phase, you can pay up to 1000 Life Points to have a monster you control (except this card) gain that much ATK, until the End Phase. If the selected monster is destroyed by battle during the turn this effect was activated, the Battle Damage inflicted to your Life Points is doubled. If a monster you control (except this card) destroys a monster by battle, you can remove from play 1 "Psychic" Spell or Trap Card in your hand to gain Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's DEF. You cannot activate this effect if the attacking monster gained ATK by this card's effect.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 2 monsters you control while having 5 or more monsters in your Graveyard. This card is also treated as a Fiend-Type monster. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard with half its ATK and DEF. It is treated as a Zombie-Type monster. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each monster you control that was Special Summoned by this effect. This card cannot be destroyed by battle as long as you control another monster. (Damage calculation is applied normally.)

While "Planetary Beast - Mercury" is in the Monster Card Zone adjacent to this card and there is no monster in the other adjacent Monster Card Zone, this card is treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

● As long as this card is face-up on the field, all face-up "Planetary Beast" monsters on your side of the field except "Planetary Beast - The Sun" cannot be destroyed by card effects.
