Horakhty Card

I decided to make a Horakhty card. I think it's pretty good, what do you guys think? Also hello, new to the forums here.

 

*Note* Please don't say "It's OP" that really doesn't matter, if it were a balanced and realistic card it'd be in the "Realistic" section right? It's just a card I made up and wanted it to be overpowered.

 

 

I had to save the blank card template with the text to my computer and use photoshop to add the picture of Horakhty in, I wanted it to look as perfect as possible (not distorted), and I changed the sharpness a bit to give it a hint of that "real holofoil scanned card" look.

 

Also, I got as close as possible to make the ATK and DEF an infinity sign, but I couldn't figure out how to make one. Anyone know how to make an infinity sign for ATK/DEF? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

 

*Edit: I added a layer to make it look more holofoil. How's this?

First of all what is OCG? The grammar of the effect on the card? Cause I thought it sounded legitimate.

 

Second, the name is the real name of the card from the manga/anime.

 

Third, the pic is from the manga, and it's not distorted at all unlike most of the horrible cards I've seen all over the internet.

 

And finally, how is it an overall fail? Explanation/tips?

Never heard of Savior Star Dragon, and why wouldn't it work? It's not targeting the Gods with an effect so they wouldn't negate it. (I'm a master of all things Egyptian God related. I have a real set of the 3 in English secret rare from GBA game, also a Jap set of 3 secret rare, and I have built a deck around the 3 gods that is 100% legal other than the use of the Gods).

savior star dragons affect iss to negate the effect of a monster even if the affect canccels out it and gain it himself then you could use a spell or something

Get a life? Apparently you need to get one too, you are also on a forum about making up Yugioh cards, right?

 

I have never seen a real version of this card anywhere. And I sure as hell haven't heard of a syncro version of it, so therefore you may want to do some research before you sheet talk. And yes, I will give up, because I'm satisfied with the way it came out, why would I keep making more of them?

 

And I followed OCG as close as possible when dealing with effects I haven't seen on any other card. I think I did a damn good job on the grammar. What exactly is wrong with it?

 

I was asking what people thought on the overall look of the card. I don't give two shits what people think the effect should be, or even if the grammar is correct. I made the card, not YOU. If I wanted opinions on what the effect should be I'd have posted a question about what the effect should be right?

 

I simply want to know people's opinions on the overall look of the card. Does it look official? Does the picture fit well? Does it look nice and clean and not like a piece of crap like most of the cards on here I've seen?

 

Jesus H Christ maybe I should be like you guys and go around giving 1/10 to every card that isn't up to my incredibly high and distorted standards.

 

*If you're going to rate it badly, at least give some constructive criticism or something, it isn't that hard.

You see, this wasn't made to be a Joke Card, or Realistic Card, as the creator stated. Personaly, I think it was a stroke of genius to encorperate Syncros into the God Cards, without actualy remaking a card that already exsists in the TCG, CCG, or whatever other acronym you wish to call Yu Gi Oh.

 

If I worked for Konami, I would make a non duel useable card like this in an instant.

 

Just because I enjoy going against jerks like MEWTWOZZ, I'm giving this card the highest rating I have ever given: 10000/1. Yeah, I can do that. Oh, and Pistol also gets a +rep from me.

Thank you for the kind words, it is nice to see there are others in this world who think before they just say whatever pops into their minds :-p

 

And to "Deustodo", thank you, this is what I was meaning. FYI the picture wasn't blurry at all when I first added it, but i sharpened it cause I thought it gave it more of a look like a real holofoil card that had been scanned...apparently not. Maybe when I get a spare few minutes I'll replace it with the clearer picture.

Give me a link to a Syncro verion of Horakhty. Please. Back up your claim. Otherwise, do research next time before you talk.

They made it to incorperate it into the actual game. It isn't actualy a made card, but rather is seen in the manga/anime, and even then only once or twice. You never actualy get a close look at it, so people are free to make it how they wish. It's only stupid to make a card that's actualy in the TCG/CCG already, like remaking the God cards.
