Cosmic Remnants: The Mirrors [Started/Accepting VIA PM!]

Mhm, know what? I think I'll do something different for this RP...

Name: Bazel

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: A wiry-raven haired girl wearing neat, green clothing, bright blue eyes and a hairclip made out of what seems to be pure gold, holding her hair backwards. Her clothing, though simple, is expensive enough to show an air of regal authority. She often wears a brown hat with a white feather in it, which would normally look ridiculous. However, she is so used to wearing it that she is able to do so without having it fall off her head, or blow away in the wind.

Weapon: A Matero; A smal, fat-looking blue dagger with clockwork innards, apparently magic in origin. Originally stolen, the blade paradoxically only looks like a weapon while dormant. It is linked to its master's mind via' magic, and through this connection can change its shape to adapt to the needs of the time. At first, it's only combat form is a small, brownish-blue crystal, that examines objects. It can then copy the weapon that it examines, to a certain point; An animal's claw would form a real dagger, for example. From that point on, the weapon it examines can be used.

It's main use is when other objects of magic are examined, which adds abilities and powers to the Matero. Bazel can only scratch the surface of its abilities, and might be able to update it if she gets a knoledge of magic.

Dimension of Origin: Horologium

Olympus Proeliator

Bio: A former orphan, Bazel took it upon herself to learn to steal. Though apparently bad at it, when she was young, a kind wizard she attempted to steal from took her in and gave her food and shelter for a couple days. He bestowed a gift upon her that would actualize to an ability she would need out of necessity.

As it turns out, that ability made Bazel immune, or able to suppress, most forms of magic. This also translates into her tricking human intuition, allowing her to steal with much more ease than usual. Especially wizards and mages, who depend on magic to alert them to such things, are easy pickings for her. Becoming an extremely wealthy theif, (although she uses most of the money quickly), she's taken to living in inns and buying clothing that allow her to blend into wealthy society.

Name: Aldreich

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Appearance: Aldreich usually wears a long floor length black rope with his hood up. He has a normal face but with dark green eyes. He has shoulder length silver hair that is perfectly straight. His cloak has a Silver clock embroidered into the chest. He has very pale skin because of the cloak. Under his cloak he wears an all black shirt and black pants. (The clothes he wears he made himself after both of his parents died in a fire.)

Weapon: His weapon is a black staff with silver markings on it and a small silver orb on top. inside the orb Roman numerals float around and flash, and sometimes disappear. He also carries around a small silver pocket watch that allows him to channel his magic

Dimension of Origin: Horologium

Olympus Proeliator

Bio: Aldreich was a perfectly average person unless he was supposed to use magic. Aldreich could not channel his magic and therefor could not use any spells. When he was 10 both of his parents died in a fire. The only thing that he had to remember them by was a small pocket watch. (this is why he dresses the way he does, He faces serious depression.) One day a few years later a few kids were making fun of him because he couldn't use magic. He was angered with them and stopped time completely to run away. He has tried many times but he cannot stop time again. However from that day forward he learned that with the watch he could use magic. (The watch acts as an amplifier for his own magic, and depending upon his emotion the power of his spells become more or less powerful.) (One more thing) Because the fire that took his parents also took his house he now "Lives in one of the clock towers and only leaves when he absolutely has to.

P.S. Sorry about the long Bio

Expect it to be great. I feel I'm sitting on something big' date=' but for my plan to get to the first world to go through, It will require quite a few long posts, even ones so long that I'm not even used to. And I've done about 8-14 lines before, I'm sure. Which, is becoming a habbit.

The point is, there will be times where it will require some patience for me to post. Plus, I officially have a life now, so I won't AWLAYS be on.

[/quote']

On weekdays, except for Tuesdays and Thursdays, I won't be on into around 4:30 or later. On Tuesdays or Thursdays, I won't be on until later. Some days I might not be on at all. During this weekend I can be on in the evening. Next weekend I can get on during the day and the evening. The weekends will be in that order from now on.(My mom works 3rd shift at her job, so she needs to sleep during the day, and the comps in her room.) Some day there's a lot of fussing and I can't think straight, that'll make it hard for me to type out a lot of stuff. And sometime I get writers block, and then I can't do much. Sometimes I can post a lot, like 6 sentences, but not a lot. That's what you can expect from me as far as the time I can get on, and how I can type.

OOC: Accepted, but now we start, so you might have to settle for someone else. Also, keep in mind that you get a special weapon when you get to the Vir Core, and the weapon in the app is the one that will be found.

YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEAPONS UNTIL YOU GET TO THE VIR CORE. I HAVE SAID THIS, SO PLEASE, REMEMBER THAT!!

IC: Zack woke up in his soft bed, as the light from his window shone in his face. He opened his eyes to see his night stand, and a nice, sunny day. He was suprised he actually got sleep, because he was recently thinking about what kinds of other places are out there, out in the world. He quickly got out of bed, and inhaled the breath of a new day. He stared out the window, with his left side facing the window, and decided to open the blinds. He turned around to get ready for a new day. He put on his regular outfit, and grabbed his simple, thin, two handed sword. He did wish he had a new sword. He alwas liked large swords, ones that could crash into the ground with powerful force. Regardless of what he did and did not want, he was happy with the fact he at least had a sword. He walked out of the front door as usual.

OOC: I will have a force or thought luring your characters to your mirrors soon, after a day to let people know who your characters are.

Hiita awoke now that she was fifteen she had to work in the forest, controling the excess embers the adults were makeing while cuting down the trees with ther fire magic, obviously Hiita being magicly gifted for her age she thot that she should be doing more. One of Hiitas grate disires in life was to go out and find adventure.

"I wish something good would happen" she thinks as she catches up the embers with her dull nub of a staff.

ooc: I have my bow and arrows, since I'm an archer in my universe. The arrows just don't have their abilitys yet.

IC:

I hopped from tree to tree as the sun rised, in the dark forests of Orion. It was hard to see any light through the thickness of all the branches of the giant greenish trees, but when I finnally reached the end and climbed to the top of the last tree, it was all worth it, to be able to see the sun rise over the ocean. I rested and watched it move up, as if flying over head, amazed at how beautiful nature it. I sat on a branch, cooled off by the lack of sunlight, and heard it starting to crack. My eyes widened slightly and I immediatly dropped to a lower branch, though the one I was sitting on snapped off as I fell, I was able to push it out of the way, seeing as how it was rotted and barely hanging on the tree in the first place.

Aldreich walked over to the man he had been talking to. "So why do we always have to were these rings?"

"Don't ask me. If you really want to know find our boss."

"Whatever." Aldreich had just been accepted into a time wizard clan and was required to wear a ring that caused him to always tell the truth to the other clan members. "I hate this stupid thing. I'm going home." Aldreich walked back to the clock tower that he lived in. "This is the story of my life everyday in and out. Nothing fun ever happens."

OOC: Whoops! Got my character name wrong. I might sometimes have confusions with my character's name. The name I will now use is his real name.

Kenith had been having strange daydreams, and weird dreams in his sleep, where he would be standing in the middle of a great light, and he would be told to walk in. It was weird, but dreams are always weird.

At that moment, a message blasted in the ears of the Olympus Proeliators, saying "Your destiny is time..." and the last word echoed three times. Kenith was compelled to go to the old abandoned inn nearby, and he didn't know why. He never really cared for going near there, as there was always a paralyzing feeling that came over anyone who went near. He didn't want to go, but before he knew it, his feet slowly moved infront of the other, in the direction of the inn.

Bazel's blue eyes impishly observed the cobblestone roads of her city. The air sung with the tolls of the various bells and clock chimes as the hour passed by, and she giggled slightly as she used the slight distraction to remove a watch from a particularly worried-looking Time Wizard. She could always tell; Wizards were the ones who wore the fancy silver, plus her skin always got an odd prickling feeling when she was around them.

They always seemed to have plenty to steal, which made them ideal targets. Not to mention, they always seemed to rely much too much on their magic to tell them when someone was close...

She briefly reflected on the stupidity of the so-called "Brilliant" clans of Magi, but shrugged as she continued to walk. She noticed some street urchins in the corner, and with only a moment or two of thought, tossed the gilded watch down to their surprised, dirt-covered faces. She didn't stick around long enough to see their faces, though she heard the weak "Thank you" from one of them.

She grimaced when she remembered when she had been one of them. If it weren't for one of those kind, yet stupid, wizards, she probably would still be among them. His gift had proven so useful over the years... she privately hoped to meet him again, to personally give him her thanks.

(Note: Would Bazel start with her weapon? It's something she stole and can't really control anyway, so it would make sense...)

OOC: No she does not. I repeatedly said that. You get your weapons at the Vir Core. You can have crappy weapons, but nothing like the ones you will get. Also, I just said that everyone who is a Olympus Proelatior hears a voice. What it says, is in my previous post.

Kenith's overwhelming fear and curiosity forced him to continue putting one foot in front of the other as we walked down the dirt path to the downtown area. The voice he heard earlier rang in his head like a bell, and it compelled him to continue walking.

When he got to the end of the dirt path, he saw a 5 floor, brick building, covered in vines and weeds. The windows were boarded or broken, and all were slathered with dust. He stared at it and savored the feeling that overcame him, and his face reflected his fear, when a voice rang in his head "You must not be afraid of your destiny.....your mission...."

When the sun had fully risen a voice boomed through the forest telling me to head towards the other side, I had never been to it before, and started jumping over to it from the trees out of curiosity. When I was near the middle of the forest it told me to keep going, not to stop even though I was tired. When I landed on the tree directly into the middle, the branch I was on completley snapped and I feel about 20-30 feet, fracturing a couple of bones. The voice continued yelling at me to get up and I tried my hardest, but just couldn't make it. It was at that moment that the voice became obviously furious and forced me up, I kept on my feet and slowly limped to the direction of the voice.

Aldreich heard a voice inside his head. It made him feel like going to the large clock tower at the very center of the town. He put his hand in his pocket to check his pocket watch and was surprised when it was missing. He quickly looked around but when he could not find it he hung his head pulled of his ring, pocketed it and began walking towards the large tower. "I cant even be a wizard now that my watch is gone." He said to himself. He heard the voice again and started walking faster towards the tower.

Heinrich awoke in the middle of the night, sweating profusely. The nightmare had startled him to the point of being unable to take it, and his body automatically shook him awake.

"Damn... third night in a row."

He could sense it. Something was coming.

The smile he always wore was nowhere to be found as he wandered out into the night. He donned his traveling trousers and silver-cloak as he stepped out into the night from the safety of the tiny hut he called home. He had decided to leave his crossbow in the hut this time.

The past few nights, when he awoke like this he went out to practice his aim at the archery range. Tonight, Heinrich McVey didn't really feel like doing that.

Stepping out on the grass in nothing but straw sandals, the moonlight reflected something Heinrich's eyes that he never suspected was there.

The moon revealed the sadness in him that he'd always kept to himself. He thought of his mother, the one who'd taught him most of his healing tricks, and the darkness in his heart slowly grew.

No, not a darkness... more of a hole.

Though he had no awareness of this hole, he did feel like he was missing something in his life.

He had no family left. His mentor was finished with him.

No, neither of those would've been enough, even if they were still around.

He'd gotten those feelings. He noticed the many women around the town that were single, with no man to claim them. Oh, did he notice them.

Ever since he and his first girlfriend had split up, he'd not been in the dating game for quite a while. He was starting to think, maybe it was time.

Just to kill some time, y'know?

However, before he could give this anymore thought, Heinrich heard an unfamiliar voice surrounding him.

Your Destiny is time...

As if it were a trigger word, he sudddenly felt the compulsion to go to the old church. The religion that had been practiced there has long since been extinct, and no one had dared to enter for fear of being possessed by the unholy deity that had been worshipped. It hadn't been destroyed because of the samee fear, so it simply stood, as if a monument to the old ways people thought.

All Heinrich knew was that something pulled him to this place.

Perhaps that old deity is calling out to me...

Perhaps it wants to possess me and make me its new speaker...

Do not be afraid of your Destiny... your Mission...

Somehow, Heinrich began to trust this new voice. It gave him the feeling that the voice was not calling out for a victim, but... a saviour.

Either way, it's not as if he had a choice. His fear showed in his shaking hands as he pulled open the grand doors of the church, revealing the ancient interior that no one had seen in ages...

OOC: I think I might be able to work something out.

Kenith was as shaky as a leaf in the fall breeze as he stared into the pinnacle of fear for everyone in his village. He was paralyzed, motionless by the force that seemed to imminate from the broken building. The voice had spoken again in his mind, and echoed throughout every corner of his spirit, his mind, and his soul. It said "You must not fear....who you are..." On that note, Kenith's feet moved in front of the other slowly, towards the source of the village's every fear, as what felt like his true fate coming closer. His fears grew as he approuched the building, yet he was given strength. He took a good and solid grip of the door, and slowly opened the door. There lay, the rotted insides of the once busy inn.

Cob webs, broken boards, holes in the walls, and dust all abound. The source of his fears, however, were not relieved. It had come from the second floor, and he stared at the staircase as he stood about 5 feet from the front desk of what was once a successful business. His heart beating, his stomach turning, and his breath growing heavier.

Aldreich had made it to the tower and soon realized that the doors were locked. "If i had my watch this would be a piece of cake." he said to himself. Inside his head he heard the voice again "YOU MUST NOT FEAR... WHO YOU ARE.."

"Who I am." he said startled. "I know who I am. I am the worthless son of a great mage. No one knows who i am. I'm worthless." Despite his hatred towards the voice he seemed more determined and climbed up a pole next to the tower in order to jump in through the second story window. once inside he felt a great fear wash over him. Even though he resisted he began walking up the spiraling steps towards the top of the tower.

Heinrich looked around at the dusty old church. The walls were adorned with many ancient symbols and designs, all oddly reminiscen of an occult following. A man surrounded by a black halo rose into the pure, white sky. Everything below him, however, was shrouded in darkness. The land below was a wasteland, barren and full of death. Humans agoznizing in pain, as drawn screams escaped from their mouth filled Heinrich with a sense of dread.

This newfound feeling, however, was suppressed as he heard the voice again.

You must not Fear... Who you are...

Now convinced that this voice had to do with the church somehow, he turned around to find the exit. As he turned his head to the door, he saw the drawings above the great doors.

Dark, shadowy creatures tore apart multiple humans. They were running in terror, and the creatures had wicked black smiles on their face as they pounced through the air onto their prey. The man with the black halo had replaced the sun in the sky, and the sky was a deep purple. The darkness portrayed in the picture terrified Heinrich, and as he walked closer to the door, it slammed shut in front of him. The loud bang it had made caused him to jump in the air, and as he tried to open the doors he found it to be nearly impossible.

Looking around for anothr exit, Heinrich didn't know what to feel. Terror, anger... or this new emotion that had found its way into his heart, this sense of having a purpose?

"Alright... whoever you are, what do you want?" His eyes were filled with a new fire, yet retained the calmness of the still air within them. He'd chosen to accept his...

...Destiny.

"Aiyah, does it always come down to this? Seriously, I don't ever think I get a break around here." Pushing himself away from his desk and allowing the rolling chair he was on to slide across the room, Tate Luciole shook his head and dropped it in his hands, mussing his hair around as he glanced at his laptop's screen. The program that it displayed was a basic email system, but it was filled to the top with multiple messages, way too many for the teenager to sort out at once. "I mean really, can't some people take care of their own problems once in a while?"

Letting loose another sigh, he flopped onto his meager bed, staring up at the ceiling. 'Of course not,' he thought to himself. 'I have to find everything out for these people, and then I get hardly anything for it.’ Pulling off the thick leather gloves he always wore on a whim, the teen looked dejectedly at the small metal orbs implanted in the tip of each finger, making ten in total. ‘Heck, even the Kanzeon Interface is no good unless I can touch them, and it’s pretty weak after the army messed with it..’

“Goddammit, I really need a break. Huh?” His laptop ping’d, indicating that he had a new message. Scrolling down and opening it, he gave a surprised laugh.

you must not fear who you are.

869 clavier st, apartment 6A. the key is under the mat.

your reward will be plentiful.

There was no return address.

“Another prank message?” Slipping his gloves onto his hands, Tate hit the print button, waited ten seconds, and watched as a small slip of paper popped out of the back of the computer, with the address written on it. “Ah, well. It could be worth something.” Opening the door to his dorm-style apartment, he locked it behind him, and slowly descended the stairs to street level. He knew the surrounding area well enough.

(((Sorry I didn't get my opener done earlier.)))

Aldreich mad it to the top of the tower and looked around. Carved into the walls around him were symbols and letters that he didn't recognize. He heard a voice and turned around, but there was no one there. Again he heard a voice and turned. H looked around the entire room and saw a small metal door. he walked up and saw that it was locked. "Of course it is if it wasn't that would be to easy." He slumped against the wall. "Well then guess i have to wait until that stupid voice gives me another brilliant idea. It already got me trapped in here, whats the worst that could happen?"
