The Tin Trooper
A little Deck I've been tinkering around with. Please tell me how I can improve it. This Deck has been changed to meet Tourney Standards and the September Banlists. -Griffin
8 traps19 spells25 monsters 52 cardsIt should never be more than 42, and should be 40 where possible. Why is Skull Servant in here? Or Urgent Tuning? Try and get a second Mezuki, it's only semi-limited in September. Most of the tuners don't have a lot of a point, and the vampires can probably be removed too. Genisis is very dead-draw-y. Necroface is also random and not needed. I know you don't have every possible card, but try and get some idea for useful cards from other Zombie Decks around, like mine: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-148690.html Some cards are OCG only, so don't bother with Shutendo or Miracle Dig, but most of the cards there will help you a lot. Archfiend is Level 6 and PZ is Level 2, so I'm including Skull so that I can tune it and Spirit Reaper with PZ. I'm including Urgent, 'cos it can be good when used in the right situation, like if your opponent attacks with a monster, activate Urgent to bring out one of the Synchros, stopping the opponent dead in their tracks. And since the monster was going to attack, it has to attack again, hopefully destroying itself. I live in England, so it's hard to get anothe Prem. pack 2 to get Mezuki, and the Tuners are there to get the Dragons out. The Vampires are for Deck elimination and Graveyard Revival for monsters like PZ. I do agree with Necroface though.

Skull Servant, PZ and Spirit Reaper requires you to have 3 monsters on the field and you only have 1 of each in your Deck. It's almost never going to happen and it just forces you to draw Skull Servant at times when he's useless. Urgent Tuning is bad, you should have done the Synchro Summon on your turn anyway and the monster doesn't have to attack again, that's optional. Deck elimination, as you put it, is useless, most players can get cards from their Graveyard to their hand easier than from their Deck to their hand, filling their Graveyard only helps them. Actually, with Urgent Tuning, you can Synchro Summon even from the Deck. It actually won me a few matches.
-Griffin
No, you can't, that's a ruling mistake I've seen before ~.~ the effect ISN'T "send monsters from anywhere and get out ANY Synchro" Which is what you seem to think, you have to send monsters you control (on your field). -Griffin
Ahem.If the number of monsters you control changes due to an effect chained to "Urgent Tuning"' date=' and you do not have a Synchro Monster of a Level you could Summon when "Urgent Tuning" resolves, you must show your Extra Deck to your opponent to prove that you cannot Summon a monster. You do not have to show your Extra Deck to your opponent if you would not be able to Synchro Summon at all when "Urgent Tuning" resolves. (Because you control only 1 monster, or control only Tuner monsters, etc.)[1'] This ruling clearly shows that the Summon depends on monsters you CONTROL. I know rulings, don't argue >_>

And unless my opponent has a card which removes Synchros from the Extra Deck, I'll be able to Syncrho Summon. Also, note that Urgent Tuning can be activated during any player's Battle Phase. The card does not specify where the Synchro Material monsters have to be, so it's perfectly alright to Syncrho Summon with Urgent tuning, although I expect you would require to have at least 1 monster on the field. ◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
<.< No it isn't. This card would be banned if the effect said from anywhere on the field. This is only allowed because it means from your side of the field. Plus, if it said that, don't you think it would be in like, waaaaayyyy more Synchro Decks. It'd probably be in every Deck. Then this September you'd see it on the banned list. Seriously man, if you think it means from anywhere on the field you are very lost. I'm sorry, but you have a lot of rulings to read. EDIT: I think you're confusing this with the OCG rulings. If it's OCG, I'm not interested. This is a TCG Deck. The OCg rulings specify that you have to control the Synchro Material monsters. That is nothing but a truthfully ugly fortitude of lies. I would prefer that you not get mad at people who wish to help. If anything needs to be added here, or more preferably removed, then it'd definately be the Tuners. What is the use of a Morphtronic Remoten, except in a Morphtronic Deck? Really? Since PZ is the only Zombie Tuner and it's limited, I have to include others to ensure I can Synchro Summon. If PZ gets removed from play, then there'd hardly be any way to get it back. The only way I can think of with my Deck is by using Necroface's effect, but I took it out, since it IS pretty pointless.
