Felix Culpa
Okay, well I am once again, writing a story. The main character is a vampire slayer named Sebastien. Sebastien is a world-class vampire slayer who is right now without his assisstant, who was attacked by a small horde of vampires on their way to London. The reason they were on there way to London is because the object of their hunt is Abram Si, who is a son of Ramses II, and he fled to England from Germany to escape capture. Sebastien gets his left leg broken and limps to a house that he is familiar with, his own. Where he and his other hunter friend, live. Abram is creating a small army of vampires, starting with Rilight, a very intelligent trickster who is very fast on his feet, which he carries into the afterlife. Any comments? This is only what I have so far. And any suggestions?
Dark
Comedy?Action?Romance?Sci-fi?A mixture of these or other genres?
Felix Culpa
Mostly a more bloody macabre piece with hints of romance dabbled through, in which two of the main protaganists die.
Dark
Wouldn't it be part science fiction considering vampires are fake (yes all you Twilight fangirls and gay Twilight fanboys, the vampire is not real)?
Felix Culpa
Well sci-fi is more aliens, bio-genetic engineering, stuff like that. If it was in space however... but this takes place in 19th century England.

Felix Culpa
I've always wanted to get one of my books published... And I'm hoping this will be the one. I have most of my hopes in this one... i'm researching different landmarks in London in the 1800s... Any like events you'd like to add to centralize a time period. I just put '19th century England' so there is no certain time it is yet.
Kitty
cool.. I actually wanna get one of my books (cuz at 218 pages it's not considered a story anymore) published... but I don't know who'd read a book with violence, romance, and adventure mixed in with it. You need to market around to publishers with boooks like that. See if I wanted mine published, I would mail a copy to Little, Brown publishing because they are the forefront of vampire novels, with the Vladimir Tod and (ew) Twilight series on shelves. Mine would fit nicely into their book spread.
Kitty
meh.. i have to edit my story big time.. it's not fit for public yet... thanks to my editor writing (rated-X) stuff in it... I'm editing while i type...
Felix Culpa
I'm still rough drafting it... i'm going to be done with it by.... December? And then type and edit. I myself serve as primary editor, with some of my friends second and third. Then I'll retype and market around.
snake_boy
I've got a motto when writing, there's always room for humor,I'm writing a romance (I'm ashamed) in a hospital and I still put jokes in.

Dr. Abraham Van Helsing, was actually based off the father of Bram Stoker. (random fact). Van Helsing wasn't actually that big of a 'imma kill you now Dracula'
