[DISC] Sacred Beasts or Wicked Gods?

Recommended Posts

I don't think the wicked gods are that bad first of all u only losing 3 monsters with that you can easily sacrifice the weakest monsters you have i agree that avatar is the best but i gotta disagree about eraser for 1 eraser's attack increases by 1000 for every card your opponent control, yes at you lose him but think about it. eraser destroys everything on the field but say you were lucky enough to have another wicked god on the field doesn't matter which one as long you summoned that monster with hardened armed dragon you can win.

now the sacred beast card well their good to but lets look at them

uriia: to summon him you'll have to sacrifice 3 continuous traps of course his atk/def is based on them and if he happened to be destroyed you'll have to lose another continuous trap just to bring him back. good side is he can destroy spells/traps

hamon: to summon him you'll have to sacrifice 3 continuous spells he has a base atk of 4000 but how good is hamon well he can inflict 1000 damage when destroyed and plays decoy when in defense. i can see his effect working better if you had lava golem waiting.

raviel: to summon him you will have to sacrifice 3 fiend type monsters and he gives you tokens for every monster your opponent summons plus by tributing them to raviel he gains their atk

it really is how you play and what you like the wicked beast cards can be good but nobody wants to build a deck involving the 3 but the sacred beast can join the crystal beast or its own

Hamon is not really that awful in Crystal Beasts.

Uria lost power with prio gone.

Raviel..., haven't really seen him played, he might fit in some sort of Fiend deck, but I'd rather use Darkness Neosphere.

Armityle is a big, almost unsummonable glass cannon. If only it came with some protection effect or something...

Dreadroot and Avatar are both awsome with Last Turn (totally important fact)

Eraser is still one of my favorite cards ever.

Honestly, I think Sacred Beasts are better because of their easier summoning condition (yes, Special Summon > Normal Summon), but the Gods have nice effects too, and you can use 2 or the 3 of them in the same deck. That said, all of these cards require dedicated decks to work, and all decks that you can build around them would surely turn out to be really, really casual.
