Steampunk Cards - "Blood and Paper" Set Beginning

Hi everyone, this is my first post here so don't expect anything amazing :D

 

So this is set in a dystopian future where the world has been split into factions with their cities all combining into one HUGE city with different areas. And that's as far as I've got. So, yeah, enjoy! :D

Some of the effects are basic and 'WIND Type' = 'WIND' (same for 'WATER Type')

These are rather good for a New Member.

One point: Steampunk is generally thought to be an alternate history formed if WW1 had not happened; ie it is set in the past (alt. 1920s), not the future. If you want a dystopian future; then the art style will be Cyberpunk.

Thanks very much everyone, I spent a lot of time looking for the pictures, which by the way are all from deviantART, and the only one I edited was Nautilus by changing the colour balance.

 

Thanks MaxDarkness, I didn't really know the difference between Cyberpunk and stuff so cheers for explaining it to me :D

 

Yugiohfreak, I'll try ad PM them to you later but I won't be around for a bit today so it will be later but I will do it :D

Really good work like em alot' date=' just one thing Fortress says while "Updraft" remains face-up on the field, doesnt Updraft need to be a conituous Spell Card??? Or am I miss reading the card? The rest have some nice pics and some easy to use effects like it alot!! Keep em coming 9/10

These are the errors you need to sort out:

 

Awakening

 

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can negate the effects of Spell, Trap and Effect Monster Cards that designate Machine-Type monsters you control.

 

Floating Fortress

 

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, "Updraft" is treated as a Continuous Spell Card. As long as "Updraft" remains face-up on the field, this card can attack twice during your Battle Phase.

 

Capital Horimoto

 

Needs to be a Continuous Spell Card

 

Switch all "Horimoto" monsters on the field to Defense Position. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the battle position of "Horimoto" monsters your opponent controls cannot be switched.

 

Updraft

 

If you use "Floating Fortress"' effect fix; this can become a Normal Spell again.

 

Toss a coin 3 times. If 2 or more results are heads, select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. Tribute Summon 1 Level 5 or 6 monster from your hand, Tributing the selected monster. (This Tribute Summon is treated as a Special Summon.) If 2 or more results are tails, destroy 1 Level 4 monster on your side of the field. During the turn you activate this effect, you must skip your Battle Phase.

 

Horimoto Guardian X1

 

Cards cannot have two printed types. Change to a Machine-Type

 

This card is also treated as a Pyro-Type monster. When this card is summoned, toss a coin 3 times. If 2 or more results are heads, destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. If 2 or more results are tails, destroy 1 monster on your side of the field.

 

Dive Deeper

 

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Nautilus". You must also offer monsters as a Tribute whose total Levels equal 6 or more from the field or your hand.

 

Nautilus

 

Ritual monsters must have their summoning conditions printed

 

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Dive Deeper". As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can negate the effects of Effect Monster Cards that designate WATER monsters you control. Each time this card destroys a monster by battle, this card gains 100 ATK.

 

Finn O'Tronnel

 

If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 Warrior-Type monster with 1400 or lower ATK from your Deck in Attack Position.

 

Fire!

 

The effect doesn't really fit the title or image. You should probably change the effect and switch this effect to a different card.

 

University of Magicke

 

This card can only be used as a Synchro Material Monster for the Synchro Summon of a "Magicke" Synchro Monster. If this card is used as a Synchro Material Monster, the Summoned monster gains 200 ATK.

 

Come Fly...

 

Pay 500 Life Points to activate this card. Special Summon 1 Winged Beast-Type monster from your Graveyard. Equip this card to the Summoned monster. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK. When this card is removed from the field, the equipped monster is removed from play.

 

Quite a dull effect...

 

Pay Life Points in multiples of 100 (Max. 800) to activate this card. Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Winged Beast-Type monster from your Graveyard. Equip this card to the Summoned monster. The equipped monster gains ATK equal to the Life Points paid to activate this card. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally.) Each time the equipped monster destroys a monster by battle, put 1 counter on this card. When this card has 3 counters on it, this card is destroyed. When this card is removed from the field, the equipped monster is removed from play.
