School just started on Monday for me, and my schedule sucks. I'm juggling a few honors classes and the SAT's this year, my classes are spread out all around the school, and I am involved in 3 or 4 clubs. I have to give up everything "fun".

 

NOTE: I am not in 12th grade yet, so no AP classes.

 

To make this a viable topic, discuss how school affects your personal life. Did you have to make changes to your schedule? Is it screwing over your job? Are you happy to go back?

Started Sophomore year this year, I should be a Freshman like my friends but I skipped 7th, I've had to cancel on the while they are all free, and I'm on the only one stuck with Algebra 2, and AP Us History >.<

 

My schedule sucks.

Algebra 2 isn't that hard, but it does depend on the teacher. As long as you aced Algebra 1, you'll be able to study MINIMALLY (but not never study) and ace it.

Um, AP's are available starting freshman year? Psh, I've known kids whose schedules are much harder than yours.

High schools in Canada are crap compared to the ones in the U.S.

 

I have six courses and two spares, and when the year's done, I'm moving on to university.

Taking algebra 2 freshman year, and tbh, thats nothing. I have an aight schmedule, and im fine with the life i have right now. IT does cut a lot of my time off of here though.

World History Honors for first block, Digital communications for second, Art I for third, and Algebra I for fourth.

 

World History is nice and quiet, it isn't really that hard, I love history, and we rarely get homework. Digital Communications is okay, pretty easy so far, too. Plus I have a friend in that class. :3 Rarely any homework. I like Art, just because it's so easy. Once again, no homework. xD And Algebra is my least favorite class out of the whole thing, but It's okay, I guess. There's a bit of homework, but not overwhelming, at least not yet.

 

So this is my first year where I've actually wanted to go back to school. 3:

my school sucks this year. they think that changing from a 4 block system to a 7 period schedule. they aslo didnt help with clearing up the traffic by moving the 600 freshmen to the hoffman bulding when the traffic stayed the same. we get more homework and less itme to do it. and they switched servers causing computer log in problems for many people but mostly me til today.

I take a year round school but for the month of August is an "All-Day Free Period" I guess, which rocks, that, and from this afternoon until 2 Mondays from now. right now we're totally off.

 

 

What sucks is 'school' actually starts the monday after next. 1st hour English, 2nd hour algebra I (Should be in algebra II), 3rd hour art, 4th hour biology, 5th hour PE / Study Hall, 6th hour History, 7th hour Free Period, 8th hour can't remember. **Last years schedule, it doesn't change much.

 

I'd start a rebellion but everyone else is to chicken and it would take more then 1 person to overthrow them. :/

School hasn't started but it will be bad. Last year of Orchestra (no hwk) then I'll have to take a language. Taking Algebra 2, and Chemistry, while the others are taking Geometry and Bio. I'm going to an advanced program thing, MST. I don't expect any free time.

I still have two weeks of vacation left. :3

 

But I'm just a sophomore, and I'll have AP history, advanced architecture, and 5 other courses. D;
