Deck B

The "2 Gadget each" idea from previous knowledge is a better build overall. With 3 per Gadget, way too often is more than 1 drawn at the beginning of the game. While this isn't necessarily bad, having only 1 proves to be the better choice. Deck A seems to be more like what the old Gadgets use to be played as: aggressive and controlling.

On the other hand, Deck B seems much more anti-meta meta style which, also from previous knowledge, is the better choice overall. It also mains Oppression, a near must for Gadgets, and LJM which works very well the style Gadgets play. It also had a broader range of Synchros to choose from so it can have the right one for the job when it needs it. Deck A seems to be very specific and, once again, while this isn't bad, the competative Gadgets of today are a tool box of sorts. While Gadget Monarchs are strong, overall, Oppression Gadgets will do better vs. the meta and come out ontop in the end.

Final Decisition: Rat-Box Oppression Gadgets (Deck B) > Monarch Control Beatdown Gadgets (Deck A)

OT: My predictions:

PM me for my predictions on who's deck is which, must vote before I tell as I don't want to influence someone's vote unfairly

Edit: I'm not saying Deck A is bad, but I think Deck B is better.

I might as well give a more in-depth analysis of the builds.

Deck A:

Basically, despite the aim of the deck, 3 Gadgets is never a good idea. 2 of each Gadget + Pot of Avarice would have been a far more sensible choice. I'd also prefer to run Barbaros over the Monarchs, as it ensures a clean field wipe before you swarm, despite having to pay a lot of LP for Offering. The build also needs either Reckless Greed or Gold Sarcophagus to speed up Ultimate Offering, as that is the deck's win condition and without it the deck is slow. Roar may have been a good choice, since you can keep your Gadget alive for a turn and then sync/tribute it next, should you not happen to draw into an Offering. The deck lacks Torrential Tribute which is one of the best cards in Gadgets as you practically don't lose any advantage, and easily could have been used over RotA since the only target is Rose anyway.

Deck B:

Different strategy obviously, this one going for an anti-meta approach, which is what Gadgets are famous for. The build has less flaws than Deck A, however some things like Giant Rat without Exiled Force are a bit pointless. Sure it hunts Dyna and Gadgets, but you're going to draw into Gadgets anyway. I feel that for an anti-meta approach, Kycoo and/or Thunder King would have been better options than Breaker (in other words, Breaker should be sided and Thunder King mained and not vice versa). Spell lineup looks really solid but I'd probably use Shrinks over E-Cons because it helps Gadgets run over bigger threats like Stardust Dragon. Alternatively, you could have used 2X Dark Bribes and a Solemn to keep your Oppressions on the board and hence maintain greater control, also allowing you to overextend more freely setting multiple defensive traps and thus psyching out your opponent.

Both decks have their merits but in the end my vote goes to Deck B.
