El Beasto Perezoso
I keep getting the blue screen o' death multiple times a day for some odd reason. I thought it might have been cause of AIM (the last thing I installed), but since I've uninstalled it, nothing has changed. I've done multiple virus scans with McAfee, Windows Defender, and Malwarbytes' Anti-Malware, all with the most current updates.I've also downloaded Skype and Google Chrome, but those are from about 3 months back with no problems. If you can help me, please do. And anyways, discuss funny things that've happened to you when you've gotten this error.
Dark
When exactly do you get the BSoD? Maybe while you are running x program, meaning that x program is corrupt.
El Beasto Perezoso
That's why I think it's either Chrome, Skype, AIM, or even possibly iTunes. I get it at almost any time unexpectedly.I've gotten it a few times while on a video chat on SkypeOnce while just running AIMOnce while running a whole bunch of stuffAnd a few times while running just Chrome on either Youtube or Addicting Games. Dark
I doubt this is the problem, but check up on your system32 files. Maybe something is haywire in there. If the virus checks aren't showing anything, I really have no answers.
♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Maybe your computer just sucks. Because those are all random times when you got BSOD's. You sure your CPU or RAM wasn't max'd out? When they're used to the maximum, sometimes they cause it.
Mors Secundis
Imposible the BSoD Actually is telling you there is a system error that has whipe youre hard drive of everthing including the OS and would result in you havfing to get a new copy of Said OS so It canty be any of said programs it has to be a problem woth hard drive/ Motherboard.RAM= Random access memory doesnt give you BSoD it merely crash the program thst is too high to run on the Amount of RAM You have and closes it so its not RAM...Cpu is ther processor which runs the RAM so it ain't that either
Dark
But I've gotten BSoD before, and I just had to restart my computer and the problem went away. The problem with Beasto is that it continously happens.
Skuldur
Once, my laptop was lagging like hell so I kept on pressing the mouse button, then all of a sudden it blue screened me. And I was like "Hurray, I finally got the BSoD".
Kizzi
What's the STOP error code?Edit: Oh, and my first and only stream of BSODs were a while ago when half of my system32 folder sort of got completely nuked. Used Ubuntu for a month before I managed to borrow a Windows XP CD and eventually copy the files over. Had to sort some drivers and then it completely stopped BSOD'ing. bury the year
It might be a physical problem with the hard-drive, something you can't fix with sweeping. That happened to my old computer; the computer was used so much that a part got overheated and melted a bit, causing an error.
Dark
Here is a funny story about BSoD. I was typing an essay, at around 1 A.M., and I kept on saving, and saving, and saving. And after I was 2/3 done, I saved one last time. I finished the essay, and it BSoD'd me. I lost 1/3 of my essay (on a 12 page essay). So I didn't bring the essay to school. Turns out the teacher was sick. xD

Milk-Chan
It is possible its from a corrupt System32 file. My computer recently crashed, and the only virus on the whole hard drive was a System32 file. But I think those are some important stuff. Try scanning the system32 folder, and even try finding it manually. I did =P
Dark
The problem is that you cannot randomly delete things from system32, and you pretty much HAVE to know what you are doing unless you are rich enough to buy a new computer/laptop. You're not supposed to have multiple anti-virus programs installed.Multiple Anti-Virus programs tends to help. That way if one misses something, the other one (hopefully) won't. And besides, McAfee is general and internet protection, Defender is computer oriented, and Malwarebyte is Malware only.

Dark
Your virus protection program should provide you with a pop-up blocker. I think running multiple virus programs both lags your computer and creates an interference, sometimes. Who knows? TBQH, Malwarebytes and McAfee (and Windows Defender) are all I really need.
