Jake the Sage Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 Well what to say . . . what to say? Well for starters let me say who I am- my name is Jacob V, but I prefer Jake. And from my name came, of course, my username Jake the Sage. I picked sage because of what it means. Sage is either a very wise person or a mystical master of sorcery. Since I honestly do both that was the best for me ^^ I changed it from the original "Jake V." to my current when I saw my friend, Grim the Wander", with his new name. Now I live in Florida near enough to be able to drive to Jacksonville, Orlando, AND St. Augustine all within a couple of hours. How lucky am I!?But mainly my town is small and boring- so I spend time online to escape from it all. I have been into Yu-Gi-Oh since it first came out; my first cards was Kiba's original dueling deck. My brother (who is just now getting into the game again) got Yugi's. i liked Kiba at first but got tired of him when he became nothing more than a ranting little rich boy obsessed with beating Yugi again (which of course never happened). I bought cards whenever I could and usually ended up with very rare cards, I am lucky like that. I had a Gate Guardian before anyone else in my school. But then they kept coming out with pack after pack so fast that I couldn't keep up and decided to quite. Flash forward a few years! Its a few months before Battle City began on TV and YGO was becoming interesting again. I decided to get out all of my old cards and get back into the game. Man was I old fashioned. None of my cards held up and I decided to go and get more. Now I am undefeated and do not care about the Ban LIst of Cards. I believe that if you have the card- go ahead and play it. Monster Reborn? Sure! It can easily be negated with any run of the mill Magic Jammer. OK, got past the YGO intro. Now for music and TV. I listened to rap for awhile, but then stopped. Now I listen to ANYTHING that I think sounds interesting weither it be Heavy Metal, Instrumental, OR Foreign. My current favorite band is Distrubed and Insane Clown Posse. As for TV, the same as music, whatever catches my attention. But if its anything on the supernatural then I am DEFINATELY in! Being a sage, or mage whichever you preferr, I do magic and have learned alot about the supernatural and the like. What else should I put? Hmmm . . . NO CLUE! *falls over* Anything else go ahead and ask. OH! PS- IM me and say you wanna duel and I will accept your challenge (I have yet to be beat)!
