need help with cards

hey ppl its me drider and im also what you call a noob to this thing but i have posted alot of my cards on this site just to hear that the card has no pic, it's overpowered, or something like that so will someone give me tips on making a balanced card that hopefully it can be a real card that everyone uses......

Well, first I would startby reading some OCG guides on how to properly communicate the effect of a card.

Here's the thread that I always use:

when people say the card is overpowered, it means that the card is to powerful to be used in normal play. for example, something along the lines of "when this card is Summoned, destroy all face up monsters your opponent controls" would be overpowered.

 

anything can be overpowered, really. to get a better understanding of overpowered cards really are, check some of the cards that are banned. for example "Raigeki" or "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning".

 

usually, cards with really nice effects would required some kind of high cost.

 

cards with no pics (pictures can be posted at the "Written Card Section". Remember though, its WRITTEN CARDS so they can not be images in any sort of way, so dont post the cards on templates! type them out.

It needs a picture unless you plan to post it in Written Cards, you should learn to capitalize, it's too powerful, the first sentence is unnecessary, and the OCG is off.

ok give me your opinion on this card he's my favorite card i made and somewhat my ace card

 

here is his effect if you can't read it

you can activate one or both of the following effects

+ if this card is unable to attack due to monster effect,magic, or trap you can negate its effect and destroy it

+ when this card destroys a monster, after damage calculation you can choose either the ATK or DEF of the destroyed monster and your opponet takes half of the original monster ATK or DEF as direct damage to their life points.

 

now can you tell me everything that is wrong with this card and go out your way to give it a rating thanks-drider
