I'm not going to bother reading any post after the first one.

Assuming the world DOES end on that date' date=' who says it's going to happen at midnight exactly?

Dumb ass.

[/quote']

That's true. But you got to think, if the world doesn't end at midnight, how is it supposed to end in a 24 hour time period after?

But you are right in a sense.

Maybe a meteor crashes into the Earth at 2:13PM and kills everyone?

The chances of the world ending at exactly midnight are even less likely than the world ending in the next 2 weeks.

The world isn't going to end on 12/21/2012 anyways, so these posts are null and void.

But you are right, if that makes you feel any better.

u guys now that makin threads like tihs will get u into hell when it actually coms instead of bieing saved by G*d.

SIGWORTHY. I think my sig quote might be old by now' date=' so I might sig you.

[/quote']

Thanks. That would be a siggable quote.

Also, it would be fun, if I had school that day, to annoy the believers to no end. But in a few years from now, we'll be alot older.

As for the God rebuttal' date=' it is said that no one will know the day nor the hour.

If people knew when, then they would procrastinate their faith, instead of being aware like they are supposed to.

[/quote']

So it's pretty much "do the right thing 24/7 because you never know when the world will end and I will put you in hell if you end on a bad note"?

Well also there is the Polar Thing that is going to be North to South and South to North

That's just more hype. Did anything happen in Y2K? No. Why should the shifting of poles changing anything?

The movement of the poles is real' date=' is a natural process. But that doesn't mean that the world will end. And when it happens, the north and the south will not invert their positions totally. That's just the worst case. Something more probable is that they just move some degrees. Let's see; if USA moves to the pole, then my country will be where USA is now, and if I'm lucky, I'll have a snowy christmas for first time in my life (And northamericans will die).

[/quote']

I know it's real. :/

That's kinda like what I said, but I'd like to keep my snow, thank you very much.

And the Earth is going to stop moving(I don't mean stop going around the sun) you see my point because the last time it near destory early humanily

Not necessarily, but it's never a good idea to quit 10 inches from the finish line.

Never give up, this is a race to heaven, and if you try your hardest, I'm sure God would appreciate. Speaking as if I'm talking to the person in last place.

Because, everyone sins, and why should someone go to hell just because they happened to sin right before their death? It's an average, not your most recent action, like grades. At least, that's what would make the most sense to me.

I'm giong to stop now, and I'm sure talking about this would make you uncomfortable. Not trying to offend you, just trying to be considerate.

Bible lays out some signs of when Revelations is supposed to go down. One of them is that the Gospel has to be preached everywhere in the world, that the temple in Jerusalem has to be rebuilt, and that the Anti-Christ has to stand in said temple and be worshiped. I'm sure there are others.

And Christianity isn't about doing good, that's kind of a side-bonus of it. The main tenant of Christianity is accepting Jesus died for your sins. Everything beside that is kind of extra.

I believe firmly, so I often refer to them in a manner indicating they do exist.

Now, can we get a little more on topic? How about, if there was proof the world would end (lol). Then what would you do?

If there was proof? Smart man, smart questions.

Since I cannot graduate from college by 2012, I'd just fail out of school and live a fun life. Do whatever the hell I want kind of attitude.

Obviously, those reasons are for the fact you would have very little time left, and you want to enjoy it, right? Or is there something deeper, more complex?

Also, WHEN would you do so? When you found out it was scientifically proven?

Just the fact that school is supposed to get you a good job in the FUTURE. Using your scenario, there is no future past my 2nd (IIRC) year of college. So why study, why get good grades? I'd enjoy life instead of ruining my last few years.

Also, WHEN would you do so? When you found out it was scientifically proven?

When it was scientifically proven with an accuracy of 95% or more.
