This card cannot be Special Summoned except for Synchro Summon. Once per turn, you can discard any number of Spell Cards from your hand to have this card gain ATK equal to the number of discarded Spell Cards x200 until the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated. Once per turn, if this card is selected as an attack target by a monster with 3000 ATK or more, you can Tribute 1 Aqua-Type monster to negate the attack.

Special SUmmons are Fusion Summons and Synchro Summons + the effects of monsters and S/T. all other are Normal Summons if that helps you out.
