Also, you did not give an example of religion hurting society, you gave an example of mentally unstable and violent people hurting society, in the name of a religion. Those are two entirely different things. The Koran says that the infidel should be killed. So the 'extremists' did exactly what their religion told them to do. What about that don't you understand?
