Skippy Canoe Posted September 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 18, 2009 Liam, this is where you come in. The woman walked away with a satisfied expression on her smooth, ice face. Soon, much louder footsteps were heard, and a large ice man appeared in the doorway with a snow leopard Dæmon. In his right hand was the arm of another prisoner, who was thrown into the room along with his Dæmon. Everyone introduced themselves nervously. Warren got up from his bed, then ran down a corridor. Then another, then another. Soon, he found he was lost. Then, he came upon a staircase, which was fenced off. Luckily, the fence was made of ice, and he broke through it easily. He bounded up the steps into a large room. The room's floor was transparent, with ice that seemed dangerously thin to him. He looked around, and saw an intricate glass dome above him, showing the peach, apricot, and cream sky. The beauty of it all made him forget the situation. He looked around, and found nothing but a few pieces of furniture. Why was it fenced off? he thought to himself. There were two more gated exits on either side of him. He chose one and broke through the fence. He doubted that he would make it back to their room. This led to a strange enclosed bridge, leading to a tower of the palace. He saw through the transparent view of the tunnel that the other exit did this, and saw the complete shape of the palace. He crossed the bridge, then entered a small room, with nothing but a spiral staircase around the perimeter. He ran up the staircase and found himself in a smaller room with a glass dome on it. In the center was a surgery table, next to it being a metal cage on a normal table. Both things were attached to wires, which ere attached to a strange machine, and the surgery table had shackles on it. Warren knew what this was immediately, and sprinted back the same route he came, Lotos struggling to keep up, and surprisingly found the room and flopped onto the bed, sobbing. "I'm guessing they're going to give them to things that don't have Dæmons, like the bears that live in the north. Maybe to give them some political peace or something. All I know is that I saw a machine where they severed the Dæmons, so it's gonna happen." he feverishly explained. He stood up and said strongly "Now we have to have a plan." He sat down, until suddenly they heard loud footsteps coming down the hallway. Warren knew what was about to happen and ran to the door. He slammed it shut and locked every lock he could. Then he slid the bed closest to it in front of it. The group heard loud banging on the door, until suddenly the door burst open, Warren almost hit by the bed flying to the other side of the room. All the locks wee broken. It was the ice man and his Sow Leopard Dæmon. The man motioned towards Warren, who stood up in confrontation. The man could not speak, but he looked very angry. Suddenly his Dæmon tackled Lotos and pinned her to the ground. Warren dropped in pain. "Stop, you're hurting... us..." he breathed frantically, though the Dæmon continued. Then the man looked at Warren as if saying "Listen or die." Warren nodded and the man's Dæmon released Lotos. The man grabbed Warren and pulled him out of the room by his left sleeve. Warren tried to get away, but he wasn't strong enough to rip his frosted sleeve. Warren was taken up to the atrium, and into the Severing Room, as he thought of it as. Alex ran out the room and Attempted to find the Room Warren talked about when he alst got back in the room. "Hes Gone.." she knelt Down onto the floor, and started Crying, Tears Going down her Face. The ice gate apparently had a thicker ice wall that could come down, because it was at the moment. Warren sat on the ground in a corner. He thought of the others, and tears came to his eyes. Soon he was crying, thinking of Lotos, Alex, Tran, Taiki, Eve, and the rest. He wiped his eyes and looked up. His eyes scanned the room, but there didn't appear to be any way out. Then above him, he looked at the ice dome. It wasn't too thick, and he thought he could break it if he could find a way up there. Instead, he looked for something to throw at it. He scanned the room again, but there was no object small enough to lift. Then he looked at his own shoes. They were in very good condition for walking and running on ice for the past days. He had an idea. His shoes were pretty much frozen on the outside, and could probably gather enough momentum to break the ice. He quickly stood up and pulled his shoe off. Then with his best throw possible, he launched the shoe upward. The shoe collided with the dome, and it fell apart in a shower of ice shards. Warren covered his head, but was still very cut up by it. Suddenly, the door burst open following the ice man running in to the room at Warren. Warren screamed, shocked at this. The man pinned him against the wall. Warren struggled to break free, but couldn't. Then the man threw him on the ground and left. Warren wasn't sure what happened until a shooting pain went up through his legs. He had no chance of walking, and laying still on the ground would eventually cost frostbite. Warren was going to be severed for sure. What could he do now? He had lost the battle. Suddenly, a human woman opened the door and came in. She had long blonde hair, and a long, white fur coat. Her Dæmon was a ferret, with very white fluffy hair. Following the woman was an icemade man, but not the same one as before. "This one pleases me," she said, looking at Lotos. "It will fit perfectly with the king." The ice man nodded and approached Warren, who was still on his back. Snow was falling in his face from the broken dome. The man hoisted Warren into his arms, and threw him on the table. She Ran threw another Corridor, Tears still coming from her Eyes, with Tran having Trouble keeping up to her. When Suddenly she came to a wall of ice. It was impossible to Break it, but she Had to somehow. it wasnt that high up, and she could just about reach it if she tried, She jumped up, with Tran clinging onto her, and dropped down the otherside with Tran in one Peice. She Ran Across The Small Corrdior, and came to a Room, As she walked past it, she heard Voices, she stopped, and Put her Ear to the door.She Heard someone say "This one pleases me,It will fit perfectly with the king". Warren must be in there, but i can't just bardge in there She had An Idea. she whispered to Tran. "I need you to turn into a Rat, that should make everybody run, once there gone come out, and tell me if warren is In there" Tran Turned into a rat, and went In, but With No effect came out, but he Replied with 'Warren is in there, hes on the Serving Table, i Fear there is nothing left we can do to save warren and Lotos...' Warren noticed it too, as they shared the same thoughts. The ice man once again left the room, with the woman. Warren knew that the man was turning on the machine, as he heard a soft wirring moments after he had left. He threw himself onto the floor, and opened Lotos' cage with his opposable thumbs. As they walked back to the room, footsteps were heard from the other end of the hallway. Warren turned around and saw the group of people that were in the Severing Room with him, and at the same time, they saw him and the others. He tried to run, but fell to the ground when he did so. Alex and Warren were surrounded, while the rest of the group could only wait anxiously. Suddenly Lotos changed into a lioness and charged through the crowd. Several ice people shattered, but reformed seconds later. Lotos charged back to Warren, plowing over more guards in the process. Warren wondered how Lotos could run like that while he was injured badly. It was as if she not only wasn't hurt, but was powered up by some magical force. Tran Ran at The Ice Men and Pounced up at One, and it Shatterd into Peices, only to reform momments later. "What? How?" he Turned Around and Hit again. Lotos could no longer hold them off, not even with Tran with her. The guards would continue reforming no matter what was done. The two Dæmons could not fend them off any longer, and backed away as the army of ice guards closed in on them. Warren had to make a decision fast. "GO ALEX GO!" She Grabbed Hold of His arm And Ran where Warren Had told her to go, Running Through the Ice People, with Tran Leaping on any Guard trying to stop them, They finally got through and Turned the Corner. Also, I like your new name. ^_^ Warren wondered how Alex had managed to pull him all the way back to the room, while he was barely supporting himself. Lotos trotted behind them as they returned to the room. Warren immediately flopped on a bed and locked the doors. "We have to leave really quick or we'll get killed! I think my legs are broken, someone will need to help me out." Also, guys, for the next part, we'll have the same characters, except I'll accept some more people in. A new problem will occur that I haven't come up with yet. I probably shouldn't advertise this, but I made a Fan Fic somwhat based off of this RP on my GFX forum, SCGC Forums.
