How good is this deck at getting cards in play? If really good' date=' Plasma might just work in the Side Deck, but if not don't bother.

i found that its pretty good at getting cards into play. with the apprentice chain and threatening roars/swords i can stall out a turn to then tribute for horus or prime or w/e

Try removing the Decrees. You're using Call and Roars so Decree can mess that up. Maybe replace with Reckless? Seems like you need more draw power.

 

More darks for Chaos Sorcerer would be a good idea as well. Breaker the Magical Warrior x3?

 

defo not removing decrees. thats part of the lock man.... and i found i have plenty darks and lights for the sorcerer' date=' if ones a dead draw its usually used as allure fodder ;)

and i have lots of draw power. 2 allure and 2 crystal seer is surely enough in this deck once locks up and running

 

3 Decrees.

Neg the other Traps. Add a Tor.

 

im not sure if removing the traps is a gd idea. but il think about it, i found that decrees are difficult to draw somehow as they are. the threatening are nice for the apprentice and seer and buy me turns and gaining more advantage. i will consider torrential

i see no reason for foolish? level mod can be bad- i mean very bad ur giving ur opponent 2 cards?? those 2 cards could mean game for them. i prefer total control and that includes hand advantage, and level up is a dead draw- always has been. trust me ive tried these cards

 

ok u say i have alot of junk in my deck? then why dont u suggest something?

Foolish and Level Modulation make for instant LV 6. Level Up! Turns it into LV8. Foolish can now work with Malicious which can serve as good Synch Material for PSZ and Tribute Fodder for Level 6 and Jinzo. Jinzo or Royal Decree along with LV 8 perform a 3rd of a lock down. This also somewhat makes the negative effect os Level Modulation somewhat overlook able as a 1/2 of your opponent's Deck has just become useless. PSZ is a better Tuner than the Blackwing. I figured that your Apprentice Engine would be better is you had OVM in the main.

 

Ignore me or w/e but that's what I thought would work.

I thinks this deck looks great the only thing is that i think Gale is a little uneccesary in this peticular deck

now this is a great fix and il really consider this. i can see more reasoning behind ur level up/mod proposal its jus a shame i hate gimmicky cards that will be dead draws even with mallet it means i loose hand advantage trying to get rid of the things :D i hate mallet with a passion i really do. i was thinking OVM as a main but il see how the playtest goes tomorro thnks

Then perhaps Plasma could complete the lock. Or, if he cannot be summoned, he's a viable Trade-In or D-Draw target in lieu of Horus (Trade-In) or in case you don't have Mali. Just sayin'.

playtested it today sorry that im asking for advice again.... but i found that i dont really use prime material dragon (even though hes a life saver but hes jus too much of a hassle to bring out). so i was thinking forbidden challice? also i thought about taking out gale for PSZ and taking out the mirage dragons for breakers and the chaos' for OVM. the problem with the deck is that its still a little, well, meh to be precise even though it can still pull through and win most of the time. im really not happy with the spells either and was thinking if i can make it more aggressive i cud take out threatening for bottomless. anyone wanna help here?

 

i can sub in mali for now, but hes expensive, and the plasma, i think il find it diffcult to bring out i rarely use more than 2 monsters at a time =/

 

trade-in might be a very gd idea, loving the extra draw power

Slow down Red-Eyes-san. Gale for plague good. Mirage for Breaker good. Trade-In good. Basically everything you said makes sense, but I don't know how well it will work out.

if ur wondering, i was thinking GKs over mal atm and chalice over plasma. and the arcane barrier- its experiemental. il playtest this tomorro
