Crucifiction(hell i don't think i spelled it right)

Putting you in a box that has tactical placed pins in it so they can pierce the same wound more times or ripping apart your rectum with a blunt object.

It's nothing to joke about, first get tortured and then you can lol or ftw anytime you want.

People say the end justifies the means. If you agree with that statement, and torturing someone saves a large number of lives, you probably have no problem with torture. If you disagree with the sentiment, you probably think torture is a disgusting, animalistic way of handling things.

I think it depends on the situation. If someone is planning a massive attack, or an event that would kill a large group of people, and you know that the attack can be stopped if the person you have in custody talks, torture is acceptable to me. If you are unsure that your source knows the information needed to stop the attack, even just a small nagging doubt, or if the situation isn't nearly that serious, then torture is unnecesary and cruel.

But that's just me.

If torture were actually the only way to save a number of lives, I would be ok with it in a second.

Thing is, it's not. In fact studies have shown that it is LESS SUCCESSFUL then other coercion methods.
