1924 (a)- A mine had been discovered under the island city of Kronia. It held rare jewels that has been seen to affect the fabric of time and space.

 

1924 (b)- Cortez travelled back to destroy the mine in order for the TimeSplitter project to be destroyed forever. with his success, the mine, along with the city, was destroyed.

 

1935- In Egypt, an Ankh in the tomb of the Pharaoh Ramases II has started to give off some strange energy. It rose the bodies of the dead in the tomb. When the Ankh was recovered, scientists noticed that it had the same crystal structure as the jewels in Kronia.

 

1965- A 1600's mansion has been acting up. The crypt under the house started to emit a strange light and the corpses in the room started to rise. The bones of the hypnotist that owned the house was disturbed and his power started to affect the zombies. In the hypnotist's coffin, he layed there holding a jewel that was glowing bright green, like the Ankh in Egypt.

 

1969- In the village by the city of Kronia suddenly acted strange. the villagepeople suddenly started to horrendously mutate. They killed the children in the village, as welll as lobsters to be sacrifices for the "Angels of Time". When they recovered the body of a person who mutated enough that his body became insect-like, they discovered that not only his DNA changed, but his bones were crystallized to the form of the jewels that were in the Kronian mines.

 

1970- A gang held a Chinese Resteraunt hostage and stole money and jewels from the bank near the resteraunt. One of the jewels that were stolen were the same jewels discovered in 1924.

 

1990- An underground nulcear base on a dam in Siberia emitted toxic chemicals. The scientists and soldiers in the surrounding area of a specil nuclear module suddenly mutated or zombified. It was later shown that an outside source has activated the module, not anyone there.

 

2020- A horde of aliens in Planet X has taken the brain of the ambassador of Earth. They demanded that they wanted the jewels that were in Kronia, which they dubbed "Time Crystals" as a ransom. They wanted them to not only rule the Solar Sytem, but also rule the past.

 

2052- A man named Jacob Crow started experiements to mix the atomic structure of the Time Crystals with human DNA. However, the test subjects either died or horribly mutate. He then found the right genes to fit into the Time Crystal structure and made the ultimate species, the TimeSplitters.

 

2053-2400- After harnessing the powers they have, the TimeSplitters started to grow in size and started a war against the universe, letting them exterminate every race they deemed 'inferior'. This led to the massive killings of the human race and the population to decrease to a dangerous amount.

 

2401 (a)- Two mercinaries, Sergeant Cortez and Coperol Hart started to inflitrate the TimeSplitters base orbiting the Earth. They tried to recover the last remaining Time Crystals from the mines in order to stop the TimeSplitters from being created.

 

2401 (b)- Cortez has been able to retreive the Time Crystal, with the cost of his partner's life. He then went back in time to the first discovery of the TimeSplitters.

 

2401 ©- The TimeSplitters have been wiped out of existence and peace has been restored to the universe.

 

2410- In NeoTokyo, a gang called the Oni Guard has risen to protect the city from any possible danger. Since the city was not attacked in the TimeSplitters War, everyone wanted to take down the city for their selfish pouposes.

It is 2416 NeoTokyo. The Oni Guard has been protecting the city for well over 6 years and stopped every threat it has been faced with. However, rumors has spread that a gang called the Dark Masks, ranked the 2nd deadliest gang, next to the TimeSplitter Army, has been hiding in the city and started killing Japanese government officials. Even though they are the strongest gang, not much is known about them. Can the Oni Guard stop this unknown threat from destroying the city? Or will they lose the city they vowed to protect?

SWK-40

The standard scoped semi-automatic rifle of the Japanese army. It made from materials to not only make it effective in battle, but unable for it to jam.

SV-Overture

A sniper rifle created from materials to support plasma pods and regular ammo. The scope has inferred capabilities for a better target, however jamming is likely.

Assault Shotgun

A shogun used by Special Forces in certain armies, such as the American Green Berets. Because of its size, it can store more shells than a regular shotgun. Though, used in close range, it can be moderately useful from mid to long range.

Raygun Carbine

An upgraded version of its pistol version, the Raygun. Being fully automatic, it can be in good use to the battlefield. Though its ammo is made from the same plasma as the Raygun, it is still able to block blood flow, though it is weaker than before.

ElectroTool

A rifle with a spinner holding a vast amount of electricity to either charge and overload a certain mechanical item, or shock someone with over 200 volts. Since it isn’t a gun, it does not use bullets and is done when the battery on the gun runs out.

Weapon Name: Resplendence Mk.2

Description: A automatic weapon developed on Abydan for defense purposes; Each gun is about 34 centimeters in length, with a large (almost revolver-style) barrel for loading shots.

Weapon is slow to load each shell, but accurate and is nigh-impossible to jam due to its alien design; Each shell is actually comprised of three shots with shells welded together, pulled into a spiral while firing. The bullet is capable of being shot through water or mud without losing velocity, and is coined a 'slippery bullet'- It is difficult for traction to get a grip on it, and therefor it moves at a much higher speed, with almost no drop in efficiency if used in different gravitational environments.

Bullet, however, is incapable of piercing through high-caliber resistant armor, and if the one shot lives, creates a bullet hole that is much easier to recover from.

Ammo per clip: The barrel can contain 21 shots independently, or be loaded with a cartridge belt for larger numbers of shots.

Raygun

A gun created by the inhabitants of Planet X in 2013. It fires a rapid amount of green energy blasts that is strong enough to block blood flow in certain areas of the body.

An electric gun modified from a Beretta M9. Instead of using bullets like most guns, it uses electricity stored in batteries and other electric-based sources. However, it only fires a short amount of ammo in each battery.

A semi-automatic pistol used by most of the police forces. It has been modified to use most clips, though jamming with the other clips is more likely than its regular ones.

Description: A rather large knife that fits into a holster strapped to the users ankle, wrist, or any other plausible spot. The blade itself is long and extremely sharp, and reinforced with steel. There is also an abundance of some alien metal that has yet to be identified, but this unknown substance seems to give the Knife a stronger -- and deadlier -- blade than most. That isn't to say it could cut through a solid steel beam... it's just tougher than most blades.

The leader of the Dark Masks which who were banished no so long ago. His anger grew with the time that passes, and once it snapped he decided it was time for revenge upon Neo-Tokyo. A strong leader with legions willing to follow him and even lay down their lives for him, but his men are important to him. He won’t even send them to their deaths if they were unaware of it, but if on a dangerous mission he will try to keep casualties as low as possible.

Silent Overture – A longer scope then the SV- Overture with better range, but lower ammunition within its clips. The gun has a special scope designed to use inferred, night vision capabilities and scope about one hundred meters.

 

Wind Slash – A light, black metal blade made from rare materials found from only deep within volcanic mountains. The blade has razor teeth able to cut through flesh and only a few types of armor and the handle was a standard katana hilt. Due to the light weight of the weapon it can break easily from certain beam weapons, but can move with a faster swing.

Primary Weapon- Electro-Pistol: It is customized so that it glows neon blue whenever its fully charged and the light loses shine with each shot. when it runs out, he needs to reload it. He kept the pistol as a memory of his former mentor, who was like a father to him.

 

Secondary Weapon- Katana: A blade he had since he started the Oni Guard. The edges of the blade are extra sharp in order to incapactate enemies. However, it is made from steel, making it the worse case for using it against plasma-based fire.

 

Bio (must be at least a paragraph): He is the current leader of the Oni Guard after taking leadership when the original leader died. He was trained by his former leader to evade quick attacks as well as protect himself against enemy gunfire. though he was too young to fire a gun when he joined, he was only taught basic hand-to-hand, skills with a sword, and to hieghten his senses and increase his stamina. As he grew older, he was able to use the standard Electro-Pistol that the leader gave him. As he died, he vowed to protect NeoTokyo from anythreat that may come its way.

Appearance: Tatsuya has long black shoulder-length hair. Three bands of hair on the front of his head are spiked up and colored a dark blue shade. He normally wears a black collar shirt with the kanji sign for 'deamon' on the back, blue jeans that looked faded due to it being washed a lot, and white sneakers. He has a green diamond earing on his lef hand and a pair of glasses with gold frames covering his brown eyes.

Foreseeing that his son would join the Oni Guards, Solez's father has trained him to control his breathing, as well as how to anticipate his opponent's moves. He fights with a calm demeanor, and never makes the first move. When sniping, however, he is ruthless and picks off enemies with no hesitation. As a person, he is usually kind and caring, but has the capacity to be ruthless and cold to those who do him or his friends wrong.

Appearance: Tall, with short black hair that barely covers his ears. He always wears glasses, unless sniping, where he wears contacts (which he despises). He has bushy black eyebrows and the skin of an islander, darker than most. Brown eyes and permanent black bags underneath make him look like a dark, grim person, but his smile hints at someone who is inherently good of heart.

[spoiler=Race Info:] (Added in order to include the race- Abydan is a planet in a Trisolar system, within the scattered-type Galaxy collectively known as the "Cerberus Gate", due to being the 'gateway' to the Hades Galaxy, a system known for its lack of stars or known sentient life.

Abydan may have been a planet of pure water for a long amount of time, and the evolutionary path of the Abdian suggests this. However, currently the planet has a large, swampy amount of land due to plate shifting and volcanic action. The dominate race, the Abydan, are accustomed to this, though still seem to resemble humans in some aspect. Their form of government is a mixture of Monarchy and a Republic, in which the public elect a board of 52 officials that moderate the actions of the five direct Monarchs, whose line are bred from birth for politics. Every Abydian is a member of one of the five Monarchy, and cannot renounce their association under any circumstances, unless they are elected to the Board of 52; Royal Lineage is generally denoted by a mutation not prescent in ordinary Abydians, such as electricity-generating cells or venom.

They are bipedal creatures with dark-blue, somewhat slippery skin that holds water well. Their hands have three fingers and a thumb, with a webbing between the digits and an extra joint. They have short claws that can be used in combat, however are more useful for gripping rough rock surfaces.

Abydian curiously also have hair that grows in a very select system of colors; Bright red, tannish white, or dull green. Their hair grows quickly, and actually grows from the back of the neck as well as their skalp, requiring it to be tied back or cut when on the surface. While below water, the hair fibers have a tendency to float upward and way in the currant like seaweed, effectively disguising them along with their inconspicuous skin tone.

Abydian eyes are odd, and have a special white 'eyelid' that extends from the side of their eye when they are submerged; This eyelid acts as a filter to both protect the eye and give better visibility under water, however it is also slightly luminescent in the dark, sometimes giving Abydian the appearance of glowing eyes. When above the surface, however, their eyes are white with small pupils and blue iris (No Abydian have different eye color).

Abydian also have long tails extending from the back of their spine, with long fins along side them that unfurl once they are in water, nearly quadrupling their width. The tails are extremely sensitive, but can be grown back if lost, and can be dislocated at will. This quirk of a gene allows Abydian to grow back spinal information, as well as regrow lost limbs given enough time, essentially making any damage not done to their brain temporary.

Abydian faces have similar dimensions to human, though with a total of 72 teeth, many of them small and pointed in order to catch and kill live fish while in the water. Abydian are capable of regrowing lost teeth.

Abydian reproduce in a way similar to most humans, however have their children as 'water eggs'- squishy sacks (though tougher than they appear), that are eaten from the inside out by the fetal Abydian. Infant Abydian lack lungs or legs, and live in the ocean in this 'tadpole' stage for up to seven weeks before migrating to land. Despite this method of birth, Abydian DNA is incredibly adaptable, which has led to a large number of hybrid races.

Abydan governments, while not specifically racist, often dislike Abydian hybrids due to their shorter-than-usual life spans, weaker muscles, and difficulty swimming, and often encourage them on ambassadorial missions to the planet of their separate descent, often permanently. Despite prevalent rumors, hybrid blood does not reduce their healing factor, which seems to be a dominant gene in anyone with more than an eighth of Abydian blood in them.

 

Gang: Dark Mask

Mask: Small black mask that only covers the eyes, but wraps around the head over and around the temples. Relatively simple, with eye holes and a jagged line coming from the edge of each; Mask is made of an especially tough material made to resist sniper shots, due to her head being her one main weak area.

Primary Weapon: Resplendence Mk.2, modified with an extra long clip that is loaded from an ammo belt carried on her person.

Secondary Weapon: Electro-Pistol

Bio (must be at least a paragraph): Quarter human on her mother's side, Sebek was always oddly violent for an Abydian (normally a rather diplomatic species). Shunned often as a child and forced to take refuge in silence, she finally found a friend in Jherr, the current Prince of the Sen royal line (notable for their mutation, allowing them to generate electric charges while in water, like an eel), who was her sole refuge for many years.

However, time passed and Jherr, being a member of a Royal Line opposed to the line that Sebek was ruled by (The Rio Line, notable for a mutation giving them wing-like fins by their arms, allowing them to glide short distances), was forced to bow to his duties and stop seeing Sebek.

Sebek eventually grew embittered to the system of government on Abydan, which encouraged backstabbing and plotting behind people's backs, eventually growing sick enough of it to accept her leaders push to station her on Earth. Eventually growing to respect the humans and their ways, (where injustices weren't tolerated in quiet, and instead fought for with weapons), she joined the Black Mask under the belief that she could use them to liberate her planet from the hidden shroud of injustices that surround it, and maybe, just maybe, let her see Jherr again.

Appearance: Tallish-looking Abydian women, with a slightly larger body and larger iris. Her hair is a dull green color, like the seaweeds of her home world, and falls down to only a little above her ankle, which she binds behind her back as so not to influence her shot. She wears minimalistic leather clothing due to her dislike of Earth clothing styles, but also to provide protection while still allowing her to keep her agility.

Bio: Marduk was an ancient AI sent down to Earth by an ancient alien civilization. His mission was to spread law to all developing civilizations. He managed to give law to the ancient Babylonians by inspiring their leader Hammurabi, but after that, he was left dormant in his capsule within the stele in which Hammurabi's Code of Laws was inscribed in. He remained dormant, waiting for a proper host to hold his AI. It wasn't until the stele was recovered from the ruins of Old Paris was he able to find a host able to contain his programming. This would be one of Defender Mark XIs defending the museum. In this new host, he searches for a way to spread law to the rather lawless society of Neo-Tokyo.

 

Appearance: His current body his humanoid. It is able to move exactly like a human. It's frame is not too heavy and everywhere but the joints are covered in a thin chrome shell. This covers its hardened composite armour that protects its inner robotic muscles. Its head is nothing but a smooth surface. Under the chrome is a series of lights that can display its user interface. It display's the AI's current disposition.

Shunned often as a child and forced to take refuge in silence, she finally found a friend in Jherr, the current Prince of the Sen royal line (notable for their mutation, allowing them to generate electric charges while in water, like an eel), who was her sole refuge for many years.

However, time passed and Jherr, being a member of a Royal Line opposed to the line that Sebek was ruled by (The Rio Line, notable for a mutation giving them wing-like fins by their arms, allowing them to glide short distances), was forced to bow to his duties and stop seeing Sebek.

Sebek eventually grew embittered to the system of government on Abydan, which encouraged backstabbing and plotting behind people's backs, eventually growing sick enough of it to accept her leaders push to station her on Earth. Eventually growing to respect the humans and their ways, (where injustices weren't tolerated in quiet, and instead fought for with weapons), she joined the Black Mask under the belief that she could use them to liberate her planet from the hidden shroud of injustices that surround it, and maybe, just maybe, let her see Jherr again.

Appearance: Tallish-looking Abydian women, with a slightly larger body and larger iris. Her hair is a dull green color, like the seaweeds of her home world, and falls down to only a little above her ankle, which she binds behind her back as so not to influence her shot. She wears minimalistic leather clothing due to her dislike of Earth clothing styles, but also to provide protection while still allowing her to keep her agility.

Weapon Name: Resplendence Mk.2

Description: A automatic weapon developed on Abydan for defense purposes; Each gun is about 34 centimeters in length, with a large (almost revolver-style) barrel for loading shots.

Weapon is slow to load each shell, but accurate and is nigh-impossible to jam due to its alien design; Each shell is actually comprised of three shots with shells welded together, pulled into a spiral while firing. The bullet is capable of being shot through water or mud without losing velocity, and is coined a 'slippery bullet'- It is difficult for traction to get a grip on it, and therefor it moves at a much higher speed, with almost no drop in efficiency if used in different gravitational environments.

Bullet, however, is incapable of piercing through high-caliber resistant armor, and if the one shot lives, creates a bullet hole that is much easier to recover from.

Ammo per clip: The barrel can contain 21 shots independently, or be loaded with a cartridge belt for larger numbers of shots.

IC: The futuristic city of NeoTokyo was normally busy throughout its regular moning commute. Kid went to school, adult went to work, and the sky rails were crowded as always. However, this day was a turn for the strange. Last night, 6 government officials have been killed by shots from a sniper rifle. The mayor of the city sent the Oni Guard to investigate, but with no known leads. Rumors kept spreading of the Dark Masks in the town, but no one beleived them.

 

In the rooftops of the city, a man was slouching on the edge of the building, watching the city as people walked by, going to where ever they were going. It didn't really matter to him. He sighed as he looked at the sky. "God, I hate being leader of the Oni Guard." he stated as he adjusted his glasses.

Sebek walked through the streets of NeoTokyo without her mask.

 

Theoretically, this was a profoundly stupid move. Of any members of the Black Mask, she was the most recognizable; her skin was blue, not and not just indigo like most of her species, but very nearly azure. Her eyes shone brightly, even in the dark, and even her human-like face could be recalled by even the slowest humans.

 

In theory, anyway. In truth, if the Black Masks were doing their job, none would be any the wiser about who their members were. And indeed, her species was quite obvious from the looks she kept getting shot, even disguised with the thick brown garments she donned to provide as much contrast to her usual, near-skintight leather garb. She noticed with a scowl that not all the glances were that of surprise and lingered more than a second longer than they should, and mentally muttered to herself that Abydan didn't have nearly as many perverts populating it as Earth apparently did.

 

She hated the marbled planet. Well, perhaps 'hated' was too strong a word- It had its charms, she admitted, and every once and a while she caught herself admiring the scenery. Even their politic system wasn't that bad, admittedly. It worked for the humans.

 

Unfortunately, it ONLY worked for the humans. She curled her lip in a sneer. If she wanted to start influecing Abydan, she'd have to start on Earth and move her way backward. Show them that change can come, even if they don't want it to. That would show them.

 

She got an odd look from a human as he bushed by her side and felt the metallic hilt of her Resplendance, but silenced him with a look before he dived back into the sea of humans -And, admittedly, aliens.

 

That was another reason she wasn't immediately identified. Despite their human-like characteristics, many humans admittedly couldn't tell two Abydans of similar genders apart. And, perhaps for the first time her planet's policies had helped her, the sheer amount of Abydan halfbreed 'ambassadors' in the city alone was mind-boggling. Nobody would challenge her on the grounds of having the same gender, hair color and ancestory as a member of the Black Masks.

 

She allowed a calculating smirk to pass on her lips. Of course, in the eyes of anyone that mattered, the Black Masks didn't exist at all.

The sun was low in the sky with the light hitting aside of a building on the other side the shadow was casted into the alley. In the dark alleyway the strong smell of trash and the rotten corpses lurked was unbearable one to even smell.

 

A tall, average looking man wearing a long, black coat jacket with tare and rips everywhere possible was in the back of the dark alleyway. His head was covered with the back of the torn jacket and what was covering his face was his simple black and white mask.

 

The only visible feature besides the jacket and the mask was a sheathed mini-sword tied to his back in adjacent angle with a brown string.

 

He was standing there for a while waiting for a special appointment he had made a long ago prior to this point with some shady characters he meet only once or twice. Very was little known about theses mysterious people, but they were the only ones who could help the Dark Masks bring the down fall of Neo-Tokyo City.

 

Something was rumbling in his throat as he started to suddenly cough, he lifted his mask up with his left hand so he could breathe for a quick second. What features you could see from his revealing faces was soul pierces eyes.

Marduk, or Tychus, as his robotic body is better known as, stood guard by a busy intersection of the streets of Neo-Tokyo. His HUD scanned each passing person's face, cross referencing their faces with the confirmed criminal database. He then recieved a message from the High Minister of his creators.

Much has changed since you were put into standby some five millenia ago. Hammurabi was unsuccessful in spreading the law to the world. Fixing this lawless society is imperative in preventing this world from falling into deeper conflict. Current objectives updated: Bring law back to this world via Neo-Tokyo. End message.

Marduk left his post and headed to the nearest computer terminal.

 

He opened a direct uplink to the central computer mainframe. Through this, he could create law within the current government. Milliseconds after reaching the mainframe entrance, he was stopped by a security program.

Passcode required for access to mainframe.

Already expecting this, Marduk assaulted the program with a scrambler to confuse the program long enough to gain access. He was not expecting the humans to have counter measures.

Intruder detected! Terminating connection!

 

All this happened within a single second. Marduk was forced back into his robotic shell. He returned to his post.

Sub objective added: Gain access to central computer central server.

To anyone on the outside, he was just another faceless person in this rush of the crowd. Just another young man in another gray suit carrying another brown briefcase.

Of course, when looking from the point of view of said young man, there was so much under the surface that changes. Underneath, many different scenarios ran through his head. The mind of the soldier is one that never rests from its job. He imagined standing upon the rooftops of every building that passed, and judging by how the wind was blowing, figured out at what angle he would have to aim to hit... oh, let's say that fruit vendor across the street.

 

Of course, where this man was headed, he was not just another person. Solez entered the unmarked back door of the unmarked building contained within the concrete labyrinth, avoiding the attention of any aliens or humans in the area. To all of them, he looked like any young guy stepping into a door.

On the inside, though, was the path to the Oni Guard's usual meeting place. Slowly as he ascended the floors, his suitcase kept knocking against the stairs. It wasn't an easy thing to carry around an SV-Overture, but he needed it for his assignments. Besides, if he got into a fight, it was his Combat Knife he'd be using.

 

The door opened up to slowly reveal the rooftop's scenery.

"Hey, Boss. What's the word for today?"

The man slowly got up from the edge of the building with a yawn. He looked at his most loyal subordinate, but friend, Solez and a smirk appeared on his face. "Come on Solez. I already told you this. When we don't have the rest of the gang with us, you can just call me Tatsuya." he said as he adjusted his glasses and threw 5 clips in front of Solez. "Those are special plasma pods for the Overture. You're gonna need it." his face turned serious. "We have had reports of people suspected to be in the Dark Masks in the city killing government officials as well as policemen."

 

He took out his special ElectroPistol that he customized himself and spun it along his finger. He grabbed it andheld it. "I want you to look at out at the highest tower in the city. You can bring anyone else you want to help out. Just don't get cocky like last time."

After he finished coughing Himitsu placed back on full face mask covering everything except his eyes. Still waiting for the contact he pulled back the arm of his ripped jacket looking down at a watch saying 11:00 PM. He lowered his arm and still standing in the same position.

 

Time was of the upmost importance to him at the moment, if he lost anymore time then it could spell disaster to all his plans. All his planning and the time it took to get the Dark Masks back into Neo-Tyoko City would have just been of waste.

 

Little bit later the sun barely moved from its previous position, Himitsu was now losing patience and was planning to leave. There were other ways to get what he needs and other alternates to his plans. He started walking toward the entrance to the street and he got past the edge of the building with the sun was burning hot and bright on Himitsu’s eyes.

 

He turned and started walking away from a sun when he past a nearly blue alien-humanoid. With little thought he didn’t even notice it was Sebek and continued walking to one of the closets hangouts of the Black Masks. It was a few blocks away close enough in walking distance.

Marduk headed for the central computer hub with all haste after his shift was finished. He must complete his mission, for spreading law is the entirety of his existence. As he approached the building, he recieved a message from his superiors. The human ones that commanded the previous AI.

Unit 2189nc283d Codename Tychus. Changes made to schedule. Due to government officials being assassinated within the previous 48 hours, defense protocol 12836 is initiated. You are to head to coordinates to continue duty.

Marduk knew that he had to comply to these commands. If he were to do anything to draw attention to himself, he might find himself reprogrammed. He headed to the coordinates sent. Apparently it was for the Central Commerce Tower. People bustled in and out of the building that shot up like massive glass and steel spire. He entered and waited for further instruction.

"Jeez, you're not gonna let that go, are you?" Solez grabbed the plasma pods off the ground and opened his suitcase. The Overture was neatly arranged with multiple clips, and Solez placed the Plasma Pods into a special container for special ammo.

"But yeah, I'll go do it. But hey, Tatsuya..." Solez closed the case again, and looked at the Boss with an innocent look. "Since when have I ever needed assistance shooting someone in the head?" He smiled at Tatsuya, then began looking around for the tallest building.

"Anyway... what exactly am I looking out for, man? Any distinguishing features, or any leads on any fo the Dark Masks yet?"

Sebek noticed Himitsu walking near her, but didn't say anything. Either the senior Black Mask member didn't notice her, or didn't want to draw attention to the two of them.

 

It was dangerous for two Black Mask members to be seen together, while not actually acting as Black Mask members.

 

Seeing as the leader was doing a fair job ignoring her on his own, Sebek completed the deal by pretending not to notice him. She assumed he was heading to the same area she was; One of the Black Mask hideouts only a couple blocks away. That was unfortunate; One person could slip out of the crowd without being noticed, but two was much more difficult.

 

She hid a scowl from her face as she realized that she would have to walk around the block at least one more time before she could go in. Even if she increased her pace and got there before Himitsu, the fact that he hadn't noticed her would probably lead him to think that someone else was trying to break into their hideout, and that had trouble written all over it. And it was simple common courtesy to allow the Leader to enter his own Hideout first.

Tatsuya shook his head. "Thats not the reason, Solez. I said that because if we are facing the Dark Masks, they would be at least one step ahead of us. So, we have to strengthen our guard if it ever happens. The only thing to distinguish the Dark Masks are that they wear masks on their face and usually wear black or have a cloak." He explained as a man walked in, disturbing the conversation and whispered something in Tatsuya's ear. The man left as Tatsuya put in a new battery in his ElectroPistol. "Solez. Looks like we have to act quickly. There's a building about 2 blocks from here. Our sources say it could harbor what we think are the Dark Masks."

A few blocks later, Himitsu was only one block left from the hideout. Everyone just passed him while they walked, unknowing to the public a huge upheaval is about to happen to their precious city. The anger that Himitsu holds against the city is like a very intense flame something they can’t be easily extinguished.

 

As he was thinking of his deep hatred, the light from the bright sun reflected from one wide window of store to his left. This caught his attention and he looked at through the window seeing some kind of television display with all sorts of flat screens.

 

On one of the televisions screens a news channel had a news reporter was reporting about the visit of Japan’s Prime Minister in about one month. Himitsu contemplated for a bit standing in front of the window with the crowd still walking past him.

 

He held his fist tight trying to hold in the urge of laughing completely, but under his mask he was smirking in a cynical manner. He wasn’t expecting him to arrive for another two weeks, but this gave him more than enough time to plan it out an attack.

 

Just needed to gather the Dark Masks for this operation, he already had a few people in mind for the operation. A small scale operation with only a few people would be enough, but should add more people just in case? He has a lot to do before the month is up.

Tatsuya looked at the vast city again and noticed from not too far away, a news report on a flat screen on the side of a building talking about the Prime Minister of Japan coming to NeoTokyo. "Oh no. This is just getting worse and worse." He looked around and noticed the pipes to the roof of this building was connected to other buildings. He smirked as he looked at Solez. "Remember your job, Solez. We start to attack today. We don't want them to assassinate the Prime Minister." He ran along the roof and started to balance on the pipe. He wobbled around with each step he took, but managed to get to the other roof. He looked around for further access to the other roofs.

"2 Blocks... seriously? That close?" Tatsuya took the pipes towards what Solez assumed was the suspected building.

Remember, you're a sniper...

Solez looked around, seeing if he could find a way to cross the building like Tatsuya. After a second or two, he simply decided to follow him to the building.

"Alright... How about I come over here." After a minute or two, he took a different path through the concrete jungle, climbing up to multiple buildings amassed high in the air.

"I can watch for signs of the Dark Masks' hideout from here... Just gotta follow Tatsuya as he climbs through. That is, IF he knows..."

Solez looked through his scope, locking it on Tatsuya, following him until the target would be revealed.

Marduk recieved a second message from Command.

Unit Tychus, new objective. Protect Agent Tatsuya Kazama of the Oni Guard as he conducts his scan of the city. The Dark Mask are a cunning gang and we cannot be too careful in protecting our waning number of agents. End message.

Marduk immidiately left his post and walked into a nearly full elevator. He pressed the roof button and waited. People made wary glances at him. It was not everyday one would see a top class security android.

 

Marduk reached the top of the roof of the tower, undisturbed by the gusts that blew across the roof. He saw what he knew was his VIP or an idiotic thrillseeker. Marduk quickly caught up with the agent, walking across the pipes as if he were walking on solid ground.

"Agent Kazama. I am here to be your escort. I will assist you in your sweep as well as give you protection should the need be," announced Marduk, giving the salute that every AI gave, similar to the salute given by Roman generals, "It is a pleasure to work under you sir."

Tatsuya looked at the android that saluted him and smirked. "Let me guess: the Japanese government has sent you here because since there were rumors of the Dark Masks being here, while the Oni Guard is protecting the city while its a month away from the Prime Minister of Japan showing up." he looked around and noticed an abandoned building not to far from the tower he was in. "Well, if your good at fighting, I'm gonna need a lot of help, but I need to have a little 'talk' with the Dark Mask leader."

 

He noticed the police cars spreading throughout the city trying to find the Dark Mask members. "What the hell are they doing? They are gonna blow my cover and possibly get themselves killed." he ran up a pipe that took him to the top of the crane and watch as they scrambled looking for the fugitive gang.
