Rules

At the beginning, when all players join, players will be sorted into two different groups, either "Mafia" or "townspeople". The mafia are informed on who is in their group, and the townspeople only know how many people there are in their group. The majority of players will be townspeople, the minority, the "Mafia".

 

Every "Night", the "Mafia" members must pm me on who to kill from the townspeople. This must be done secretly, as you don't want to notify the townspeople that you are a "mafia". When I announce that it is "Day", I will also announce the townsperson who the mafia voted for and tell everyone that they have been killed by the mafia. Then EVERYBODY must discuss then vote on who they want killed (the townspeople will be trying to find out who the mafia are, but they don't know who the other townspeople are, which means the mafia members can pose as townspeople and vote for townspeople.) Votes at "Day" for the execution of the voted person must be posted, not pmed, and all members should post, including mafia.

 

Victory Conditions

Mafia Victory - If the mafia have the same or greater amount of group members as the townspeople after the townspeople execute someone.

 

Townspeople Victory - When all the mafia are defeated.

 

Special Roles

Bulletproof: I will pm this to a random townsperson just before day. This means that they cannot be killed, but they can still be voted in to be killed. It lasts for 1 night. Do not post that you have the bulletproof.

 

The Don: This will be pmed to 1 mafia member at the beginning of the game. Whenever this mafia votes for a night murder, they get a double vote. This lasts until he/she is killed.

 

Governor: This person is vote-elected by everyone to be the person who gets a doublevote in the execution. An election happens every second "Day", and a mafia member can be elected into this postion. The Governor may be voted for execution, and can also be targeted by the mafia.

 

Rules

You cannot vote for yourself.

Under no circumstances reveal your allegiance (Mafia or townsperson).

Once you have been killed, you cannot participate in the game, sorry.

 

That's practically it!

To apply, simply say "I want to join" or whatever, and you will be listed. When 10 people are listed, I will wait about a day (a real day) and then we will begin. I'm still tossing up whether there can be in-game joins.
