Koa'ki Meiru Crusader

He definitely helps with offsetting the card advantage that would be lost by the Iron Core. I only have 1 of him and 2 Chiron the Mages in my Koa'ki Meiru deck and it still works good. I'm hoping to get 2 more Crusaders and 1 more Chiron in my Koa'ki Meiru deck. And 1 more Drago.

Probably one of the best cards for Koa'ki Meirus. It might actually help in creating a good Koa'ki Meiru deck, but I feel Koa'ki Meiru decks will probably be based more on any of the following:

-Koa'ki Meiru Guardian

-the Koa'ki Meiru warriors

-Koa'ki Meiru Ghoulungulate

I'm getting tired of people talking about Core Chimail Goulungate like he's good or something in a regular Core Chimail deck. Ghoulungate is balls unless you make a Core Chimail Chaos Zombie build with Pyramid Turtle' date=' DDR and Malevolent Mech.

Well obviously you would have to throw in more Zombies into the Koa'ki Meiru build in order for it to work right.

Has it been confirmed if Ghoulungulate can use his effect to protect Koa'ki Meirus from self-destruction or not? My sources say no, but I'm not too sure.

I haven't heard anything official but I know the rules of the game and I know how Core Chimails are ruled and their self destruction isn't an effect it is a side effect to their maintenance cost and since Ghoulungate can only protect from card effects he should be able to protect them from not paying their cost. It's the exact same with Imperial Customs and Imperial Order. If you decide to not pay for Imperial Order it s still destroyed even if you control Imperial Customs.
