Very different from gravity bind. It completely prevents level 5+ monsters from entering the field, including synchro, special summon, etc. And since it clears the field, the only cards that can be played are lvl1-4. Gravity bind just prevents attacking monster.

 

How exactly does it not stop god cards from being summoned?

It's very workable with and is almost like a Wall of Revealing Light but does not require an ATK cutoff. 8.5/10
