But they would have controled all of Europe, Africa and hopefully all of Asia. I doubt America could stand up against that.

Actually, had the Japanese bombed the fuel tanks at Pearl Harbor rather than focusing on the ships, they would have immobilized the entire American fleet in the Pacific. That would have changed history more.

I love how people discuss history like a novel that can manipulate itself with ease.

 

Sure, we know that Hitler attacking Russia was sheer stupidity; but how can you be sure that his "successful" hypothetical thing would not have wound up in some downfall with him being transported with his large ego and dying? How can you be sure he wouldn't have lost in some other fashion? And how can you be sure that Nagasaki and Hiroshima would be the only reason that Hitler could have lost?

 

He was already spiraling into deep maniacal depression. One way or another, it was over for your wannabe hero. Since the very reason why Einstein had told Roosevelt about the Nuke was because of Hitler...
