Malice
"Well... This is boring..." Riley murmured, taking a moment to once more run her fingers through her short, choppy hair. She may have been standing at a point where she could see everyone, but she also felt as though she was standing above them, in some weird moral sense. This thought made her frown, so she simply stepped down from her 'post' alongside the front door, practically gliding down the steps. For a moment, the Dark Magician of Chaos simply looked on, a happy gleam in his eyes as he noticed how lightly she walked. The fact that she felt at home once more put him at ease. As he allowed his eyes to slip shut, he slowly stepped down from the stairs, holding his staff carefully in one hand and following his human as she mingled with the crowd of students. He was not sure whether she was looking for old friends, or perhaps seeking to meet new ones, but that mattered not to him. Riley was happy again, and that was that. Immortal Chaos
It wasn't long before Jack started making his way through the crowd of people. Lust followed close behind him, trying not to knock anyone over with his shield. "You think they would organize these people better dont you Jack?" Jack laughed softly. "Maybe you're just too big Lust." He looked back at the soldier and smiled.
Malice
Riley lead her monster friend through the crowd, easily spotting a Black Luster Soldier that was having some difficulty maneuvering about in the crowd. As she slipped closer, she heard his remark about organization, and arched a brow, "It's more of a 'people don't read' deal, actually." She told the monster, slipping her hands into her pockets as she spoke, "I suppose I can understand their excitement, but still..." She trailed off a moment, looking them both over. "You're second years, aren't you?" She suddenly asked, apparently having recognized them. The Dark Magician of Chaos loomed up behind her, looking both over in an equally curious fashion, "I do believe they are," he agreed, his blue lips twisting into a light smile. It felt even more like home to actually recognize people! Even if they were practically strangers, it was still a nice feeling.
Immortal Chaos
Jack stopped as did Lust when Riley spoke to Lust. Jack nodded as he shifted his bag to his other shoulder and smiled. "Yeah. We are second years....." His eyes widened as he looked at Riley. "Hey, I know you! You're in the Mystics aren't you?" He looked at Lust, who nodded. "Yes....Yes I remember seeing you two duel once. I must say you two are an impressive duo." He looked between Riley and Dark Magician of Chaos. "So, what year are you in? I dont remember seeing you in my first year classes last year." Malice
"Mmhm, I'm a Mystic," Riley confirmed, giving her head a light nod as she proudly smiled. She seemed idle, all the same, as her hands moved themselves to rest on her hips. As the two continued to speak, she listened intently, a slow smirk forming over her lips, "Gee thanks, we try our best," she told them, rubbing the back of her neck a little as she did so. Her hand soon fell to her side, and she smiled a little broader, "I'm in my third year," she began to say, casting a few glances around, "I'm head of the Mystics, this year," she added, though it sounded like more of an afterthought then simply bragging. The Dark Magician of Chaos nodded all while Riley spoke, as though to confirm that what she was saying was true. "Our last year..." He once more felt the need to point out, as though he himself could not believe such a thing.
Immortal Chaos
Jack's face sort of lessened the smile. "Aw, are you serious? This is your last year here? That's so not cool." He thought for a second as he looked at the Dark Magician of Chaos. "Boy you are tall." He laughed softly as he looked over at Lust. "But then again so is Lust here." He noted as he looked back at the main building. "Hey, Im getting kind of hungry. What about the rest of you?" He asked Riley and DMoC, assuming Lust was hungry like he was, and indeed Lust was hungry as well.
Malice
"Yeah, I'm not pleased that this is my last year here, either. This place has been like home to me for so long, I can't imagine having to leave and knowing I'm never coming back..." She murmured, her own happy mood switching to a somewhat saddened one. The Dark Magician of Chaos noticed this, and coupled with Jack's remark, he gave a small smile and ruffled her hair fondly, "Standing in front of this one just makes me look tall," he teased, knowing full well that he was quite tall, and in fact, so was his human, considering she was a female. Riley snorted softly as she felt her hair being tussled about, likely about to make some comment when Jack mentioned getting some food. She thought for an instant, though soon nodded her head, "Yeah, I'm starving, I've been out here all day." "I guess we'll be going to the cafeteria, then," Dark pointed out, throwing his staff lightly over one shoulder and walking off, apparently leading the way, "I hope it's mac and cheese night. I love that stuff." "Ew, I don't," Riley commented, making a face and sticking her tongue out slightly. She looked to Jack and Lust, gesturing for them to follow if they wished. "Eh, I really dont mind what they cook, though Mac and Cheese does sound filling right about now." Jack laughed softly. "That has to be like Catnip for Duel Spirits huh Lust?" Lust looked at Jack and laughed a deep laugh. "No, we just enjoy hos it tastes really." Jack laughed alittle more. "And here I thought I was the crazy one in the duo. Malice
"I'm a bit of a picky eater, myself," Riley pointed out, giving a sheepish smile as she did so. "I like a lot of things, but I don't dig soggy noodles with cheese over them," she said, giving a soft laugh as she did so. "Now, if they had cheeseburgers, I'd be set..." The Dark Magician of Chaos snorted at her remark, looking to the two that they had just officially met, "She's a bit of an addict when it comes to burgers. Heaven help us if there are milkshakes involved." "There are never milkshakes. Not here, anyways," Riley grumbled, giving a saddened sigh, she rest her arms across her chest as she walked, "I wonder why they always turn down that idea when I suggest it." "Likely because you always suggest around thirty different flavors, along with it," he responded, giving a little laugh as they slipped into the large building, and stalked down the hall that led to the cafeteria. Immortal Chaos
Jack's eyes wandered over the hallway and the building as they walked down to the cafeteria. "Wow, how much you forget what the place looks like when you've been gone for a summer." He nodded as he looked around still. "So good being home again." He spoke louder than he had intended to as they entered the cafeteria, everyone stopping what they were doing as they looked at Jack. "Oops." He said with a soft chuckle. Malice
"No kidding," Riley agreed as they entered the cafeteria, glancing back to Jack as he spoke loudly to himself, she gave her own soft laughs at the looks that people gave, before simply walking towards the service area. She immediately graded a tray, and began to go along the line, picking up salads and such as she passed them, she ignored the bread rolls and moved towards the ladies that were serving the food. As she noted that it was indeed mac and cheese night, she made a face and quickly asked for the second option, fried rice with chicken stir fry, something that she happened to enjoy. As she moved along, she grabbed a dessert, and then simply stood, waiting for everyone else. The gleeful Dark Magician of Chaos followed her, grabbing the forget girl a fork as he went, he gathered up what food he wanted and stood beside her, awaiting the other two. Immortal Chaos
Jack hurried and grabbed a tray. "Lets see lets see....Can I have both?" He asked the cafeteria worker. His answer just just a stern look. "Ok ok, just the Mac then. God you ask a question and it's like getting blasted by a Dark Magic Attack." He smirked as he looked over at DMoC as he made the statement. "No offense of course." He quickly ran to the others, and soon were joined by Lust as they walked to a table. shadowferret
The first year wandered around the campus for quite a while before realizing he was lost. "Okay, Poquito, we're not lost. We are not lost. If you tell me we are lost, I swear I am gonna throw you at the next person I see." The Kuriboh growled softly at Luis as he said it, until both of the first-years noticed the big sign to their right. CAFETERIA "....score!" They broke into a run, both surprised by how hungry they were. Of course, having missed breakfast as well as being lost for who knows how long, it wasn't surprising. The trays were handed out (Luis had to grab Poquito's because he couldn't hold it himself), and they both got huge servings of Macaroni and Cheese. "Whoever says you're too old to enjoy Mac and Cheese is crazy." Poquito devoured the Mac and Cheese faster than Luis could even finish half his serving, and he simply let out a laugh at his partner.
