Kendo Fish
Lately I've been listening to Mega Man X music too much, watching playthrough stuff... Weather Report and I used to own X4, so...yeah. Anyways, I've decided to start a set based on them. Partly because I had hardly anything better to do. I'll probably make cards based on other bosses and characters that appear in the series after I make the Mavericks. Some names are such travesties (like Duff McWhalen and Gravity Antonion) that I'll use their Japanese name or change their names a bit. I know the pictures are kind of squished and bland. Weather Report wouldn't let me use his computer (this old Mac can't edit images well), so I couldn't really fix that squishy thing. Checklist:- Make all maverick cards and corresponding spells/traps -- Improve maverick card pictures -- Create cards for other X series bosses -- Create cards for other characters - Working on that. Anyways, here they are.

During your Battle Phase, you can change the battle position of your opponent's monsters to face-down Defense position. When this monster attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of a Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points.
Think you have a better picture? Prove it and show me, please. If there's anything I should change, feel free to tell me. NOTE: I do not claim ownership of any of these images.
Kendo Fish
BUMP. Hasn't had ANY comment whatsoever and fell behind the first page. Why did someone leave a 1 rating here without giving ANY reason why? That seems...n00bish.
wiseband1t
Nice job on these guys. The effects look pretty good although armored armadillo seems a bit overpowered, but that can be fixed by lower his attack by a tad bit. They just need a background whenever you get the chance for that.
Astro Dude
I agree. But don't make the same mistake I did and use one color. Use a background of their stage if necessary. And my first cards were also Megaman X. I did all the Mavericks but nobody ever appreciated them. I wonder what kinds of effects you'll make for the Mavericks from X2 - X8? Kendo Fish
When my brother lets me use his laptop, I'll be able to put in backgrounds... And I take your advice. 1800/1900 for Armored Armadillo it is. Also, soon I'll put up spells/traps that go with the mavericks. Perhaps today. If only I could have appreciate your maverick cards when they were made...

Kendo Fish
Thanks. I put up three spells/traps. Today I'll put in backgrounds for the other cards, too. Also, is there an easy way for me to get rid of the whitish splotches around the image?
Astro Dude
Hmmm, good question. Anyway, there should be an underwater background for Octopus, An Ice Field for Penguin, Powerplant for Mandrill, Forest for Chameleon, Sky for Eagle, Ironworks for Mammoth, Tower for Kuwanger and Mine for Armadillo. And for Anglerge, you have to be more specific from where the monster is: From the Deck, from the Field or from the Graveyard. All and all, great start.
