Dark
This was probably last year. If anyone goes to my school, you'll know what and who I am talking about. Black guy and white girl got into a fight. Black guy called white girl a jabroni. Black guy got suspended. White girl called black guy a jabroni. White girl got minor warning. Discuss. OMGAKITTY
Seems fair to me.
Dark
Seems fair to me. Please explain why. And for those of you who are curious, the teacher who suspended the black guy and gave a warning to the white girl was a white male.
OMGAKITTY
Well, obviously, jabroni is a very offensive term. On the other hand, this girl is clearly "hood", so saying things like jabroni are perfectly acceptable.
Dark
Well' date=' obviously, b**** is a very offensive term. On the other hand, this girl is clearly "hood", so saying things like n****r are perfectly acceptable.[/quote'] This is in Boston, by the way. And this girl was not "hood". She was your average white girl. Also, black people only liked to be called bastards by other black people.

The Ruby
jabroni is more offensive than jabroni imo.

Does not indicate who started the fight. "Black guy said" was posted first, from which we can infer he started it. Probably an instigation penalty. Or I watch too much hockey. Does not indicate who started the fight. It is assumed, seeing as how he threw out the first insult. Although personally if I was the teacher, I would've tortured them both. Infinitus
Of course it's acceptable. The black guy started it. It takes two to fight. 1. Sexism2. Racism At the same time. Or perhaps one. Either way, it was wrong and the girl should have gotten perhaps not as severe a punishment. Then again, n****r is an extremely offensive to African Americans (A.K.A, for those of you who can only speak in an informal dialogue, black people) from what I've heard. I stay away from that stuff. Anyway, my point is, I believe that the girl should have gotten a more severe punishment, but not a suspension, because 1. The African American started it.2. She was defending herself, and apparently she instinctly retaliated, because she may be used to defending herself from her own environment. If it's so interesting to you, get an inside story of WHAT people said to the teacher who gave the suspension, because the story told to the teacher and how people acted (A.K.A sobbing, a very effective weapon for girls) can make a huge difference. My 2 cents.
