According to the head prefect, in the show, yugi is possesed by yami yugi. Apparently, he isn't in control of his actions so he is possesed. Also, the spirit is demonic, as it has shadow powers. And they continued to explain that the only possesion that is acceptable is one of the holy spirit. My response? Yami Yugi is the holy spirit. Sure shut him up.
