hollowmaster999
Well, my question is why did they have to make the original show so unrealistic? It took them until 5ds to make the In-show duels realistic, and imagine how great they could have made 5ds if the original was like this? Also, what's up with the cards kids are making for the 5D's show? I think some of them are kind of boring, but that's just me. If you could make your own card to be aired in 5D's, what would it be? Post here to debate about these topics, I'll update every once in a while if this becomes popular...
OMGAKITTY
Because during season 1, they didn't have any funking idea how the game was played.
hollowmaster999
Lol! I was thinking that maybe it as because Bandai owned Yu-Gi-Oh! before Konami? Also, any card you would want to be aired?

Huntar!
OMGAK, already answered your question. In season 1, people were still learning how to play the game. Even the creators. Remember the endless vanillas and equip magic cards?
Brushfire
What's funny is that the original YGO was the most realistic in terms of 'how the duels were played' with the duel disks. Well, compared to these D-Runners and D-Boards, anyway. But yeah, it's taken them a while to actually learn how YGO is played.
hollowmaster999
Ah, okay, that makes sense... Well, I also wanted to make this a thread where people could post cards they would want to see on 5D's. Is that being done somewhere else, or can it not be done? Sorry if so... The giant hologram arena's where probably the most realistic.

COINCIDENTALLY, YOU CAN'T HIT ME BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DESTROY ALL THE KURIBOHS AT ONCE. Oh, and THE SHOCKWAVES FROM THE HOLOGRAM COULD KNOCK ME OFF THIS CASTLE!!! YOU BET SURRENDER!! Lol, the original show was hilarious because the duels made no sense... then battle city came along and it got a little better, duel wise... and Dark Hole!
