Akira
I don't use Reaper in Monarchs anymore, it isn't that brilliant this format.

Tempest Dahlia
*EDITED*I just thought about it, that won't be a good idea.Maybe side A barrier for another creature swap? It won't last too long on the field even with the present apprentice engine.
Akira
I just want to try the 1 Arcane Barrier to see how it works; if it's no good, I'll take it out.

zelda_tp_fan
Arcane Barrier sucks... Even in a full on spell counter deck...
Akira
But look at it here, the counters are gained every time a Spellcaster is destroyed. The whole point of the deck is to allow Apprentice Magicians to be destroyed in battle, so it seemed like a sensible option.
zelda_tp_fan
Unfortunately it doesn't work...
Shrimpy11
Foolish Burial would be good to dump the Necro Frog faster.
Tempest Dahlia
Actually, A barrier does work, although it's inferior at the start.Keep letting apprentice get destroyed for counters, flip apprentice/seer/vindictive to gain it's effect, draw a few cards and soul exchange. It was a unique idea that actually can work in the right hands. I tried it in a deck that was based on putting spell counters on sh!t and it still didn't work...
Tempest Dahlia
Well, given. It's slow. However, it's reward is extremely worth it:2 POT OF GREEDS!!!!It depends on HOW you run it, it only seems to work with Apprentice engine and nothing else (To make it faster), not even spell counters unless you use apprentice, so it's good at 1 IMO. zelda_tp_fan
I doubt it will work, but I suppose it is worth a try.
