Spenstar
Hi guys, I'm Spenstar, and this is my first post on this forum. Sentiments and introductions aside, I have two cards that go hand-in-hand that I would like to share with you. Lore: When this card is set, you can flip this card to face-up defense position. Once per turn, during your main phase, you may pay 1000 life points to special summon one "Yin Kuriboh" from your hand, or 2000 life points to special summon one "Yin Kuriboh" from your deck. As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, DARK monsters level 3 or lower you control cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is destroyed, it is removed from play instead. And, Lore: When this card is set, you can flip this card to face-up defense position. Once per turn, during your main phase, you may pay 1000 life points to special summon one "Yang Kuriboh" from your hand, or 2000 life points to summon one "Yang Kuriboh" from your Deck. As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, LIGHT monsters level 3 or lower you control cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is destroyed, it is removed from play instead. You see how the two cards go hand-in-hand? Support cards for these two cards coming soon! PLEASE tell me what you think of my Yang Kuriboh and my Yin Kuriboh! AbbatonStrikes
I like these alot!!! Stall cards just like the original, but far more annoying lol!! Like what you did with the pics too, was that all your own work!? For you first cards Im going to give you a 9.5/10 two brill cards. Dark Mousy
I don't get the idea...
Spenstar
Both can be pretty much normal summoned in face-up defense position. With one on the field, you can pay 1000 life points to summon the other. When both are on the field, neither can be destroyed in battle, and neither can your lights and darks. If you run a light/dark deck, these two cards can really help!
Dark Mousy
Then it's massively overpowered.
Spenstar
As if Monster Removal ain't common enough. Fissure, dark hole, tribute to the doomed, if you kill one, the other is screwed! And a stop defense means that the owner is screwed LOL! The pics were my own work, I took two Kuriboh pics and edited them a lot, I have a knack for recolors. LOL, I just got the idea that these work perfectly for Chaos decks. Play them easily, tribute them for a card like BEWD, and them remove them for a Chaos Monster! LOL, Thanks for the comments, I'll make more soon!
Dark Mousy
Most Chaos monsters are banned.
AbbatonStrikes
How are they overpowered?? You stall with em, one alone cant stand up to much and you have to pay 1000 Life Points to benefit from their effects. and they sit in Defence Position and only have 500 ATK/DEF so they arent gonna be good as much else other then Tributes. Dark Mousy
Are you kidding? It's Spirit Reaper on steroids.
Spenstar
MOST chaos monsters are banned, not all of them. LOL, a fairy meteor crush is all you need to beat them anyway. Overpowered would be giving them the effects of Jinzo#7 and Total Defense Shogun to boot.
Dark Mousy
I would like you to name a few. Think about your effects more carefully.
archie17
they need backgrounds, but i like the effect 8/
Spenstar
Spirit Reaper doesn't requite the 1000 Life Points and can protect himself. If you're tight on life points, a spirit reaper could save your butt, but a Yang Kuriboh won't help much.I would like you to name a few. Think about your effects more carefully. What do you mean? Dark Mousy
Geez, you get 1 kuriboh, you sangan another one, you pay 1k LP, then you basically have unstoppable wall for all your light and dark monsters.
archie17
just play book of moon to turn one of these cards face-down and destroy one of them
Dark Mousy
Book of moon destroys spirit reaper too. You basically have a give the effect of spirit reaper to all of your lights and darks for 1k lp.
Spenstar
You mean you Sangan the first one, play it, pay 1k LP,and have protection for all of your lights and darks until someone uses monster removal against you. If you want the protection back, you have to play monster reborn AND pay 1k life points again, with Spirit reaper you simply revive it with monster reborn. AbbatonStrikes
FANtomCore has the right idea!! Didnt Chaos Sorcerer get taken off the limited/forbidden list as of Sep 1st, Chaos Necromancer has never been on there...you are thinkin of Chaos Dragon which will never come down along with Yata. Dark Mousy
You mean you Sangan the first one' date=' play it, pay 1k LP,and have protection for all of your lights and darks until someone uses monster removal against you. If you want the protection back, you have to play monster reborn AND pay 1k life points again, with Spirit reaper you simply revive it with monster reborn.[/quote'] You can't reborn Spirit Reaper!!! It dies whenever it's targeted by an effect. If you Reborn the reaper, it dies, go check the tcg rulings.
Spenstar
Chaos Dragon and Yata MADE the ban list. And FANtomCore DOES have the right idea. I can think of so many cards that'd kill both Kuriboh Twins, or kill one and screw the other. Stop Defense+Shadow Spell and your Yin Kuriboh becomes a direct attack portal, for example. Oh. Well, that was a mistake, but you get the idea! Dark Mousy
Reaper DIES when you shadow spell it, so are you implying that because of that, it is not reaper on steroids? My point is that it's overpowered BECAUSE it is reaper on steroids.
