Once Gemin's main core had been sent off, he needed a nicecly inconscpicuous planet. And what better one than the NowWhat?

OoC: I hope it's ok that I'm borrowing this planet from a book.

The Vultare grade fighters missed the main computer core. XM-209 continued with his plans ether way. He thought about Jow. He'll shut him down. He's too reckless, he served his purpose, taking attention from the pod.

Two years later,

Nikki, while making her speech, oversees her children, J.J(Julien Jr., ref. to Penguins) & Maya. They topple on each other, while Nikki smiles & finished the speech papers.

Vultare fighters! That AI was a pain in Gemin's wires. However, he did manage to evade them.

Arriving at NowWhat in: 2 Years

(Demnx and I posted simultaneously, so this was before the Fast Forward...)

XM-209 now stands over a canyon over Regis 8. He has conquered the whole Regis system. His video lens looks at the sun set. His audio recievers pan in on whirling machinery within "himself". He tested his back thrusters, they worked at nominal conditions. He looked at the sun rise, calculating how long til sun set. Regis 8 will soon turn on it's lights from it's factories and run ways. The war is still on.

NowWhat

In some ways an even more desolate place than Gemin's old residence. The only reason it's not is because NowWhat is populated. At least, it was populated. Now, it is run by mindless immortals, merely carrying out their master's will.

NowWhat

A base of operations for the third most powerful supercomputer in the known universe.

 

And that was being modest.

 

The surrounding systems are Gemin's.

He ran everything, and, through his love for economics, developed the second most stable unit of currency, the Altarian Dollar, second only to Earth's Dollar.

He even developed and sucessfully tested five new viruses.

 

NowWhat.

[blue eyes pop]

Zruek sat back on a large squishy mushroom. Above him the blue crystal ceilling thinned, making a glowing window as the moon light shone through.

Someone far North of here, Izzris members scurried across a planet, wiping out it's inhabitants until it was fit for take over.

Suddenly, a large dark blue Hercules Beetle scuttled up to Zruek, followed by no other then the Hive Queen herself; a giant bee with a massive wiggling abdomen, furry exo-skeleton and clicking pincers.

The beetle spoke (the hive queen did not have to dirty her tongue speaking to lower classes like Zruek).

"Soldier Zruek, the hive Queen wishes that you show her the current state of the Lightning God Project."

Zruek got up from the mushroom, tossing away the peice of rotting meat he had been chewing on. He then walked along the soft muddy tunnel, the two others following him.

Soon, they reached a stairway leading up outside (Izzris rarely travelled outside their tunnels in case of attack from large animals).

After the three had finished climbing the stairs they walked along the blue crystal roof.

After rounding a giant crystal wall, a sight met them.

Hundreds of small Izzris (no bigger then a human baby) were scuttling all over many large metal structures. The metal structures were holding a massive blue sphere in the air.

The sphere had two small gold wings and an empty segment.

"Her majesty wishes to know how long it has taken for the project to get this far?" the Hercules Beetle asked.

"The previous super weapon took 7 Earth years to make and complete. It was a failure. Project Lightning God is already in the final stages and it has only taken roughly 1 and a half Earth years. We will soon be sending a request to the Felinites for the parts we need to make it complete." Zruek replied.

The queen nodded then drifted off, leaving the beetle with Zruek. Zruek then proceeded to devour the Beetle.

Gemin was running a routine scan of his memory banks, when he came across some oddity. A memo. To himself.

Open Memo.

Memo Reads:

Note to self: Send XM-209 a virus.

 

Hmmm...

Ok.

Generate virus

Send.

 

 

Cake.

OOC: LOL! ROTFLMFAOLOL.

Nikki watched this thing, & laughed her head off. "HOW IS CAKE A VIRUS?!?!" She cackled.

OoC: Cake=pie Pie=easy as. It was a statement on the difficulty of sending the virus.

IC: Finished with his scanning, Gemin turned towards the development of the first message beaming system. NowWhat is located on the eastern arm of the Milky Way, so this one would beam east for about 4 hours if the day. All it would beam is "are you There?" over and over. You guessed it, Gemin was looking for species to ally with. He was also continually sending "Please, Mother" to Mother, in case he could get some form of diplomacy with her.

A message suddenly entered the Felinites systems. It wasn't a virus but the signal was so strong it was beggining to pop up all over various Felinite computers.

Felinite citizens looked on in coNfusion as one half of their computer screens was showing a large drooling fly, flecks of salivia falling from it's snout as the other half was covered in scrolling text; a translation of the flies slurps and clicks.

The text read;

 

> Requesting conversation with Queen Nikki.

> Immediate conversation requested.

> Requesting coversation with Queen Nikki.

XM-209 activated his thrusters and left the planet. He went for Father. He needed to confirm something. His legs and arms withdrawled back into his body. A wormhole opened before him, a technology exclusive to Father's generals. He went in and emerged at the home planet. It's continous glow warmed his body. He started to descend upon the planet, he landed at a airstrip and his arms and legs went out from his body. He got up and walked towards the bunker in which Father was hidden.

"Queen Nikki here. How may I be of service?" She asked.

It was the simplest virus Gemin could think of.

The reason?

Firewalls are supposedly foolproof,

However, many people do not know the ingenuity of fools.

For example, take some rocket proof windows. Foolproof, right? Right, unless you shoot at them at close range from the inside.

Two years ago, Gemin's viruses would have just bounced off the firewall.

It is not two years ago

He just sent XM-209 a strait out hack

Nothing fancy,

Just giving him the virus monitered communications, and was also a mini "self destruct button"

Activate it, and the CPU dies.

The flies snout began to wiggle and drool even more as it engaged in coversation, the text continuing to scroll.

 

> I am a representative of the Izzris species and empire.

 

The screen then split into one more section showing a computer generated diagram of a large blue sphere with wings and a missing segment, like a cake missing a slice.

 

> This is the Izzris's newest project; "Project Lightning God."

> After being launched into space it emits a constant frequency that destroys Fathers control over his Immortals.

> However, we need technology to fill the missing segment.

 

The computer image showed a slice with "Felinite Tech" written on it being pushed into the empty area of the sphere.

 

> We cannot acsess the technology ourselves, so we ask that you donate us the following;

 

A long list of confusing sounding peices and machines followed.

 

> The main reward for working with us will be the defeat of Father, but we can always give you a prize of some sorts if you wish.

> If you gather the technology needed and want to send it to us, send it in a ship to the Urkraniu System. The biggest planet in the centre of the "web" should do.

 

The transmission ended and the Felinites screen either went blank or returned to normal.

 

OoC: The Izzris are lying by the way, they're not building a weapon that combats Father's control over the Immortals.

XM-209 appoarched Father's computer core. It was heavily protected.

"Father. Shall we unleash our wrath on Gemin?" Asked XM-209.

"Yes. It's time. Send the TRIANGLE." Ordered Father.

"Yes, Father."

 

The TRIANGLE. It's a Esper cyber weapon. Originally a radio beam sent from the Esper's earliest years. It finally reached Father. He decoded it and from it, built many cyber viruses, all kept from everyone til now. It had a mind of it's own. When Father found out, it was too late. It mutated and formed into 2 seperate entities. XM-209, being the more reserved and obidiant one, while it mutated into another program he hide. The TRIANGLE is the other entity. It's main mission once releassed was like all other viruses. To delete and to grow. A missle silo on the planet opened, and out came a weapon unlike the world has seen. The missle launched, in it, was a disc, and in that disc, was the TRIANGLE. The missile soon left the planet, and headed out to space. The TRIANGLE worked in a different way then most viruses though. It targets only 3 things before moving on to 3 more things. It targeted the military, economics, and data banks. Then moves on to 3 other things once those things are destroyed.

 

Father continued to wonder if he should continue showing the Esper's technology, and hoped no one can see the pattern to protect themselves.

 

XM-209 watched as the missile left the planet. He focused his lens on it. Something attracted his attention to it.

 

Jow floated in darkness. He felt his old body once more. He twitched his finger, enjoying the feeling of having of limbs once more.

 

The small human/felenite girl looked up at the starry night. Her mother called for her. She went back in from her backyard and into the house to bed.

 

ooc: heres the pattern. Circle, 3,4,5,6,7,8.........

After the transmission ended, Zruek nodded to the fly.

He walked along dark corridors, pushing past wet sticky insects like himself.

Soon, he reached something not so often found inside the Izzris's hives; a metal sliding door.

Doors were normally made of bits of old wood or web and most often places had no doors at all.

Only rooms with important stuff that shouldn't be damaged inside them were given protective metal doors.

Zruek stepped inside and the doors slid shut behind him.

All around him was all sorts of technology...

 

A planet floated in space, slowly rotating. A smaller sphere with wings and a circular tube sticking out of it orbited the planet. The orb suddenly shot a lightning-like beam and the beam slammed into the planet. The beam zoomed through the planet and out the other side. Instead of explosding, fire began to spread out from the points the beam touched the ground. soon the entire ground was engulfed in this fire and as it cleared, the planet had vanished, simply burnt out of existance...

 

The simulation restarded and Zruek watched as the orb orbited the planet. Hopefully, the final results would be as good as the simulation showed.

 

OOC: Here's how I think the simulation might look.

The missle slowly made it's way to Gemin's planet. It'll be all over soon.

Nikki sent a FAKE Felinite Tech to them as she wants to take a guess what's really happening. "He's most likely lying about it. I've seen it that in movies that the most suspicious people do that." She said.

OoC: Trying some Fractal Tech, are we?

IC: Gemin heard reports of the missile, and immediately opened communications with Father.

He waited.

And sent a neat little package.

As well as a note...

"Mathematics are Tricky, but remember, Infinity is Infinity."

Father was being stupid. Because they were still interconnected, the virus would eventually destroy Father. Meanwhile a missile silo started to be built. A big one

As the ship landed in the centre of the hive, Izzris began to swarm over it.

Within a few hours, the entire blue orb was complete.

 

Zruek looked out to the giant blue orb.

"LAUNCH!"

 

The entire area began to vibrate. The crystal on the ground began to crack. Large crystal towers shattered with the vibrations. The metal stands fell away as the giant orb lifted into the air.

This was odd... The project was designed to take off extremely smoothly with the Felinite Technology.

 

The orb was in space, floating inbetween the bonds and planets of the hive.

Just at the edge of the Hive was a moon. The Izzris ussualy destroyed moons after they'd captured the planet they orbited, but not this one. This one was caught in hundreds of tractor beams so it could be the first victim to Project Lightning God...

The Zeus Cannon!

 

An area of the shell of the Zeus Cannon slid away, revealing a tube of some sort of goo underneath. A long turret slowly moved out of the goo.

The entire orb turned so the turret was aimed at the moon.

 

Zruek watched it on a screen.

"FIRE!" he commanded.

The cannon began to vibrate and the turret glowed with energy, but nothing happened.

The Izzris had been tricked.

 

Zruek watched as Izzris pushed the metal stands back up as the Zeus Cannon landed on them. Izzris immediately swarmed onto the Zeus Cannon and began to remove the fake Felinite technology.

 

A Centipede looked at Zruek.

"What do we do now sir?" the Centipede asked.

"We declare war on the Felinites." Zruek replied.

Nikki fired a nuclear rocket at the Izzris. "You should've hung up!" She yelled, cackling & hanging up. She said. "War of the Izzris is evident!" The crowd heard.

[Great Unclean One: VK]

Father disapproved of what the Felinites and the Izzrises. He decided to intervene.

"Send....The CUBE..." Ordered Father.

"But Father. The CUBE could destroy those 2 races. Are you sure?" Asked XM.

"Yes."

"Alright, but won't the TRIANGLE destroy us too?"

"No. We're no longer connected. I made sure of this. Even if we were to be both destroyed. Then peace and unity will follow then. Ether way, I'll be content." Answered Father.

 

 

 

The missile was close to the planet, it was slowing down.....

 

In the far reaches of the galaxy while this war was happening, the ORB carried it's tired companions towards it's masters. They'll be pleased to learn the Father had sent a representative to them.
