Felix
BIDMAS as I know it is working you up for proper notation, in this case, 24 - 9(2). The divide sign is replaced entirely by fractions while multiplication is done by brackets or no sign at all.
Skuldur
This is like my Geology teacher. She was really strict about grammar and such on a project we did and then she couldn't spell the plural of "island" and she couldn't spell "biggest" either. In Icelandic of course. >.>
Kizzi
We learnt it as BODMAS. It was orders IIRC. Anyway, yeah, some teachers can be idiots.
Infinitus
Some people don't care about the kids they teach, the customers they sell things to, or the people they serve food to (the last one happened today, actually.) There will always be good and bad people wherever you go. More or less of both depending on where you go. The teachers I've had, have always been nice. (Except for one, but I really can't remember much about why.) As for math, I can usually calculate problems well, but I'm afraid that my abilities are slipping. I may not be getting enough energy when I do my lolhomework. That, or I need to get rid of my Brain Constipation.
TAG
It's called "Complain to the school that the teacher isn't teaching math properly and refuses to admit that they are." :D But yeah, that teacher is pretty stupid. I remember when the principal subbed for one of my friend's math classes. She did a sine/cosine chart, but got the whole thing backwards. :D
