Try this:

 

right click the desktop and go to properties

then go to the settings tab

click advanced

click on the monitor tab

uncheck the box that states "hide modes that this monitor cant display"

click apply then ok (there might be a warning window that pops up)

*if after you click apply it might route you back to the display properties window.

adjust setting and you are good to go!

 

*to see the whole screen just move the mouse to the top or bottom and it should scroll.
