Attack him, tag into either Laquari or Murilo. Murmilo means that If I attack, even if you waboku it, The worst you can get is Laquari and bestiari. Bestiari is lest likely because I don't plan on having much of a S/T Field. And self destruction is stupid. Laquari means that you plan on attacking and I can read your moves much better that way. I saw the defender play out at Regionals with nate playing it, it was redicilous. Never, ever, ever would it's effect be used because it would be sacked for a monarch, and most of the time it stopped me from doing redicilous amounts of damage, almost always dealing 1000+ damage to myself.
