zelda_tp_fan
Some things you need to know if you want to run zombies successfully: Never run more than 2 Z-Masters Never run more than one Il Blud... Don't run him if it's not a pure Zombie deck since all he is doing is bringing back level fours which Z-Master can do anyway... Never run Paladin unless you are doing Raccoon City Never run Pyramid Turtle at more than 2 unless you are doing Drainbies. You usually don't need to run it at all unless you are doing a dedicated zombie deck. 1 can be run as a tech to pull out Z-Master safely if you know your opponent has BTH. You always want more level 2 tuners than just PSZ' date=' I suggest 2 Krebs and an E-Tele. Don't run Zombie World... If you insist on it, run only 2 with 1 Terraforming. Don't run more than 2 BoL. Despite it seeming like you would be running 3 Reborn, it gets cloggy at three and is generally horrible early game. Always run BfaDD to reuse Mezuki and PSZ. Run Call, If they decide to storm it, just bring back Goblin for a free search. Always run Brain Control, You pull out tuners so easily you would have to be crazy not to run it... Foolish is a must in zombies since they do all their dirty work from the grave. You are going to get many level 6 synchros. I would recommend 1 Doomkaiser for mirror matches and PSZ is run often enough that it will come in handy. 1-2 Revived King Ha Des, this ruins searchers and Treeborn if you happen to be going against monarchs. 1-2 Gaia Knights, they are beatsticks but usually just used to make easy level 8 synchos, these will be replaced by the Flamvell synchro and Brionic as soon as they come out. Goyo is obviously a must for even more obvious reasons. Here is my current Zombie deck that has been doing excellent: 202x Z-Master2x Goblin Zombie2x Mezuki1x Turtle1x PSZ2x Malicious3x Ryko1x Lyla2x Chaos Sorcerer1x DAD2x Krebon1x Gale 152x Allure2x Gold Sarc1x Charge1x Foolish1x E-Tele2x BfaDD1x Storm1x MST1x Brain2x BoL1x Lightning 51x TT1x Mirror2x BTH1x CotH Extra:2x SDD2x Colossal Fighter1x TRA1x RDA1x Armor Master1x Urbellum1x Arcanite1x BRD1x Goyo1x Gaia Knight1x Revived King Ha Des1x DoomKaiser Dragon1x Gyzarus I have been considering getting rid of Gyzarus for another Revived King or Gaia Knight. Good side options for this would be: Kycoo: It helps save your grave from retiaries and other Kycoo, not to mention that it is a handy tool against LS. This also ruins Zombies in a mirror match. Lyla/Breaker: Extra spell destruction for Macro decks and Stun builds. Psychic Commander: Remember that Arcanite in the extra deck? How about the breakers and Lyla in the side? This allows for the easy Arcanite for extra s/t destruction or monster destruction if needed when you side the other spellcasters. Malevolent Catastrophe: It's a good option for the GB matchups since they will side D-Fissures against you. It will also help against the Stun Decks. Don't side IIW, it seems like a good idea until you realize it shuts down you Mezuki and a few other cards that are vital to your deck. The rest of the side should go against whatever you have in your meta.[/quote']
Dark_Armed_Zombie
Doesn't Malevolent Catastrophe only destroy face down? That would be useless vs. D-Fissure, Twister fills the slot nicely. Although it only destroys face-ups, it'll get the vital ones (i.e. Drain, Oppression, D-Fissure, Macro, etc.) most of which could be chained to their "destruction" and escape destruction if they were face-down vs Catastrophe. I really wish I had a lot more cards than I have D: and the sad thing is, if my friend were disbanding his LS deck, I would have basically all of the cards I need -.- The deck in general is good, you have the right concept but you just need to focus it. TP covered everything pretty much but I'll put a list -1 Z Master-2-3 Il Blud-2 Pally-1 or -3 Z World-1 Terra (if 0 Z World)-1 BoL-0-1 Turtle +1 Foolish+2 BfaDD+1 B-Con Obviously, I -11 and +4, but the rest depends on your focus of either Zombie Synch - which I think is what you are going for - or pure Zombie Swarm. For Z-Synch, just refer to TP's build, it's fantastic. D': Makes me sad that I have no cards
zelda_tp_fan
Catastrophe is a Heavy Storm when your opponent attacks... Also, Z-Swarm involves Synching... That's pretty much the only way to run zombies now... That and Skilless Zombies which can still synch... Pretty much the only build that doesn't synch is Raccoon City...
