Pokemon Rumble isn't really all that bad' date=' personally I totally think it is worth the $15, only annoying thing is that you only have pokemon from the 1st and 4th generation, I really wished they added the 2nd

Problem is, for £12 (UK equivilent) I can get 6 used PS2 or GB games, and some are very good.

The second has always been my favorite with Scizor, Typhlosion, Tyranitar, Houndoom, Steelix, and the three Legendary Dogs, I also remember that the second generation TV show had one of the best theme songs

They were intensionally bad for 2 reasons,

1) So up to thirty pokemon can be doing different things at the same time without the game slowing down

2) They wouldn't have to spend time designing new graphics for the game, they just used the same graphics from Pokemon Ranch 2, they designed the pokemon for Pokemon Ranch 2 to look like Mii's

plus they do cause a laugh sometimes by how stupid they look, Machamp looks like a starfish with those hands

You can buy PS2 games for £2 in Britain? That's so...awesome.

Only in bulk and special offers. And if I'm completely honest' date=' half of them will be rubbish, but at £2 (about $2.40) who cares?

Like I said, the second generation (until HGSS) always gets overlooked...

That's sort of because it didn't sell as well (relatively) compared to Gens I and III and also received some less-than-glorious reviews (mainly complaining at the low levels, low number of new Pokemon, low number of new moves, and the abridged Kanto); so Nintendo have always 'swept them under the rug'.

Random Trivia: GSC were the only games in which the number of Pokemon was the same as the number of moves; 251.

Really I had no idea about the move-to-pokemen ratio?

but I don't know if you could say that they 'swept them under the rug' when HG and SS are coming out, it only seemed like that, recently because Gen III and IV games have recently came out and thanks to the remake of Gen I, it has been impossible to trade between the pokemon game of Gen II and the others

just you wait, when HG and SS comes out people will begin to forget about Gen III and they will think it needs a remake

Pokemon Rumble and HGSS.

I'm happy with the new Johto Gym Leader's Pokemon Levels so far...

But Falkner's Pokemon are still too low.

Pidgey - LV. 9

Pidgeotto - LV. 13

I see he's still got his Pidgeotto from Pokemon Yellow...

And they don't know Mud Slap anymore, meaning they can't fight Electric Types and I think he gives you Featherdance or something equally awful as a prize.

Roost is a pretty good move

Falkner has to be about half as weak as the first gym leader in other games because there are twice as many gyms

Doesn't need to be. The gym levels can just continue to increase' date=' so the 16th gym ends up having Lv. 70 or 80s.

Also, I hope they don't abridge Kanto again. That would be awesome.

Kanto's not as abridged as it was last time. So it shouldn't be too bad.

16th gym? i say we need one game with a massive story line where you go through every single pokemon region (even orre and the ranger ones). it would be about a war between teams rocket, galactic, magma, and aqua. you would defeat gym leaders, become the pokemon champion and be a ranger. maybe even give the dude a snag machine for those pesky shadow pokemon along the way.

1. It would have to be on the Wii. Or a first for a Pokemon Game, multiple parts.

2. It would get incredibly boring after a while since Pokemon is generally the same story over and over.

3. Which era would you set it in? Gen I or Gen II?

4. It would be nice to visit all 4 continents, but like I said in 2., it would become very repetitive; unless they increased the movepool.

And the 16th Gym is Viridian.
