Koshej
First one as an example:[spoiler=Peasant][spoiler=LORE]During each of your Standby Phases, you gain 100 Life Points times the number of face-up "HAVEN - Peasant" on your field. Source: http://heroesofmightandmagic.com => HOMM5.Since I'm trying to make the cards as close to the game as possible, I decided to convert all ABILITIES into EFFECTS and just put them into the appropriate cards. :DI'll have to use LORE too... :([spoiler=List of ABILITY <=> CARD EFFECT][spoiler=A][spoiler=Acid Breath]If this card attacks an opponent's monster in the opposite Monster Card slot, this card can attack an opponent's monster in an adjanced Monster Card slot after Damage Calculation. [spoiler=Armoured]This card cannot be affected by Spell Cards that decrease DEF. [spoiler=Aura of Magic Resistance]While this card is face-up on your field, if your opponent activates a Spell Card, flip 2 coins. If both are heads, negate and destroy that Spell Card activation. If else, nothing happens. [spoiler=B][spoiler=Bash]If this card attacks an opponent's non-Machine-Type monster, flip a coin. If heads, the attacked monster cannot attack during your opponent's next Battle Phase. If tails, nothing happens. [spoiler=Battle Dive]At the beginning of your Battle Phase, you can remove this card from the game until the end of your Battle Phase. Decrease ATK of an opponent's monster in the opposite Monster Card slot and your monsters in adjanced Monster Card slots by this card's ATK until the end of your Battle Phase, and this card cannot attack until your next Battle Phase. If ATK of any of the affected monsters become 0, destroy that monster. [spoiler=Battle Frenzy]Each time this card is attacked by an opponent's monster, put 1 "Frenzy" Counter on this card after Damage Calculation. If this card attacks an opponent's monster, remove all "Frenzy" Counters from this card after Damage Calculation. Increase this card's DEF by half of its base DEF for each "Frenzy" Counter on it. [spoiler=Berserker Rage]At the beginning of your Battle Phase, you can decrease this card's DEF to 0 and increase its ATK by the same amount, and flip a coin. If heads, this card must attack an opponent's monster in the opposite or closest adjanced Monster Card slot. If tails, this card must attack your monster in the closest adjanced Monster Card slot. [spoiler=Blinding Attack]If this card attacks an opponent's monster, after Damage Calculation, flip a coin. If heads, the attacked monster cannot attack or change Position until it is attacked. If tails, nothing happens. [spoiler=Bravery]This card cannot be affected by Effects that prevent it from attacking. [spoiler=C][spoiler=Call Lightning]At the beginning of your Battle Phase, you can choose 1 monster in Attack Position that can be affected by Spell Cards on your opponent's field, and this card cannot attack until your next Battle Phase. If the chosen monster's ATK is lower than this card's ATK, destroy that monster. Otherwise, permanently decrease the chosen monster's ATK by this card's base ATK. [spoiler=Caster]At the beginning of your Battle Phase, you can activate 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard, and this card cannot attack during that Battle Phase. [spoiler=Chain Shot]If this card attacks an opponent's monster in the opposite Monster Card slot, permanently decrease ATK or DEF of 2 opponent's monsters in adjanced Monster Card slots by half of this card's ATK. [spoiler=Champion Charge]If this card attacks an opponent's monster that is not in the opposite or adjanced Monster Card slot, permanently decrease ATK or DEF of an opponent's monster in the adjanced to the attacked monster's Monster Card slot by half of this card's ATK. [spoiler=Cleave]During your Battle Phase, if this card destroys an opponent's monster, this card can attack 1 more time. [spoiler=Crippling Wound]If this card attack an opponent's monster, flip 2 coins. If both are heads, the attacked monster cannot attack for 2 opponent's Battle Phases. If tails, nothing happens. [spoiler=Crossfire]If this card attacks an opponent's monster, you can attack up to 2 opponent's monsters in the adjanced to the attacked monster Monster Card slots. [spoiler=Cursing Attack]If this card Battles an opponent's monster, after Damage Calculation, permanently halve that monster's ATK. To be continued... a lot.

Exa Raiun
As a fellow HoMM5 fan, I am really happy to see this thread. I like how you transfer the in-game effects into card effects. Balancing will be an interesting issue. I, for one, will support this project!

Exa Raiun
I checked the new effects, and they seem balanced, with one exception: Caster. Using Spell Cards from Graveyard sounds like a very powerful effect, with no major penalties (said monster not attacking is not that big deal). I wonder how it would work, balance-wise. Otherwise, good job!
Koshej
I need some help with a decision:Should I try to fit HOMM effects into real OCG, or rather include "card positioning" too???You know, Hydra/DragonBreath/Lich/etc-type effects affect adjanced monsters - but the only thing I can replace it in OCG is random monsters...And I really dislike it since too many effects get similar...Thinking also on how to transform magics into stat effects...I should update quite soon, hopefully... :D

For the effects being similar, well, it's hard to include a variety of effects in the rules of YGO. I wonder if you want to later include the spells (as Spell Cards) and the heroes themselves (maybe their skills, artifacts, etc.?).I'll wait for your update, keep up the good work! :)
Koshej
Thanks. So POP CULTURE it is..!Not fake types, just fake rules...Updating soon - hopefully. :D(Including remaking of the already written effects.):D :D :D EDIT:Just finished the changes...Somehow I think it was a BAD idea...Once again I feel defeated by OCG.Even though THIS time I almost defied it... :D
