Dark Cloak

In the official rules, it says if a card's effect breaks the rules, then the rules are broken for that card(s), actually. Anyway, the pic could be better, and the effect doen't really make sense. It's confusing. How would a face-down attack position monster react to an attack, for example? u should explain it. It's an interesting idea, though. 7/10

Something along the lines of; "You cannot Normal Summon the turn you activate this card. Normal Summon 1 monster from your hand in face-down Attack Position. The monster cannot attack or apply its effect. If the Summoned monster is attacked flip it face-up." ?

Still how would you make an archtype with this? A lot of effect monsters that states "FLIP: Activate only this effect if this card was in the face-down Attack Position. [...]"?

Or would you have the archtype have lots of monster with 0 DEF and having effects like "Increase the ATK of this card by 300 for every face-down card on you side of the field."?

As the monster have 0 DEF they would just be killed of easily when they are in the face-down defence-position, but as the set is structured on the effects activated when you have face-down cards, this "Dark Cloak"-card would serve as an excellent card to prevent monsters from being killed easily.

This set could also contain a counter trap which allows you to change battle position of a monster when it is being attacked?

Hmm, this is getting interesting.

Thanks, Trinitial, for a very interesting card! : D

you cant have a face down attack position monster plus a burry picture 3/10 :)

As a matter of fact you can,

there is a spell that has an effect "Flip the card face down but do not change its battle position"

which means if its in ATK mode it can be face down ATK

That rests my case on that

This card is confusing XD
