The two were now outside the main gate where Hayate's group was. Regardless of what he'd said to Hesperus he was still a bit nervous. He knew that the people here wouldn't judge him for his appearance, but he couldn't remove that fear he had of people seeing him. But now wasn't the time for that. Were there underground passages that the monster could hide in? If anyone Hayate would know. Putting aside his apprehension about his tiger form he walked to Hayate. He had to wonder if Hayate even remembered what his human form looked like, let alone this form."Excuse me, but would there happen to be underground passage ways under the Academy?" Ephraim said mostly to Hayate but to everyone there as well."It has to be related to the spider monster and it just disappeared. It couldn't have done that if there weren't hidden passages." It probably had something to do with the was the man-spider's multifaceted eyes caught and reflected light, a hypnotic kalidoscope that was all the more evective on Dan because of his heightened senses. Dan's subconcious was struggling to move his body, but his motor funtcions were slowly shutting down and his concious mind falling into a state of obliviousness. Krieg looked at the tiger. "He must be in the sewers..." Krieg said and then turned towards the main gate. "Hey, psychic girl. Me, you, and Hayate are gonna scope out this spider situation. Every other student is to stay here, understood...." Krieg had that sort of silent aggressiveness, when he wanted you to do something, you would know it. zaneko Posted November 4, 2009 Report Share Posted November 4, 2009 In some deep portion of his subconsious, Dan knew it was bad. Those eyes were like a catalyst for Dan's Insanity. At least, thats what he termed it as. It was the baser insticts that governed his powers. It was responsible for the rampant destruction that occurs when Dan loses control. As it was, the subconsious portion of Dan's brain was holding the Insanity back. But the problem was the fact that is was insanity. He could keep it in check for any thing from two hours to two minutes. Dan had come, trying to be the cautious hero rescuing the needy prisoners, but that caution caused him not only to be a prisoner himself, but also aticking time bomb that could go off at the least expected moment.A little insanity wasn't a bad thime, it added spice to life, infact, it could make you stronder. He panted heavily and rose unsteadily to his feet. The spider was gone and only the prisoners remained.Dan was still mentally reeling from the encounter.
