Wait, let me allocate my thoughts..." Wayne went into deep thought, and left the room. He felt a little sorry for Krieg, having to deal with this all day. How was being headmaster of a bunch of potential killers good for him? He must've gotten paid big bucks to do his job. But, as of course, orders are orders, no matter what.  Wayne spotted Drania, though her being half-dressed almost made him look twice. Nothing makes sense anymore." she thought.She ran up to Wayne. She noticed it was back where the other students were."Be sure to get somewhere safe." She said. She passed the other students. As she passed she called out to Zeke."Zeke! Keep Laurryn safe! I'll explain later." She said as she continued to run past. The barrier ward system wasn't too far off. "Dang...these guys just don't give up..." He slashed and hacked at the rest and after about ten more minutes he finished them. "The students, I hope their ok..." Krieg said running out of the office. It must be the work of whoever that was in the hall." she thought as she entered the barrier ward system room. She stepped in and saw a massive room filled with various odd contraptions. From what she knew of the room there was one way for each teacher to activate the system. She stepped up to the machine she was fairly certain started the machine. Only two labels were legible, probably corresponding to how many teachers were at the academy at the time. The one reading earth was definitely meant for Krieg, instead she pulled the lever labeled fire. As she'd never seen a time this machine was needed, she had no idea what to expect. Andx Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 After Elincia pulled the lever a red line appeared on the floor. It guided her to another machine. Inside was an unlit candle. She could see all sorts of magic seals and symbols around and on the candle. There was a glass panel stopping her from touching the candle. There were instructions near the panel of glass. They read, "Light the candle without removing the glass.". Simple enough, for Elincia anyway. She snapped her fingers and the candle was lit. The symbols inside began to glow a quite bright red. What happened from here, Elincia had no idea. But as nothing else was lighting up or happening it seemed she had effectively activated the system. Final Fantasy Revolution Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 Elincia had successfully activated the barrier ward system and a barrie of fire was erect from the building, pushing the enemies ouside units back from the school. Now all they had to do was get rid of the inside creatures, whic as they wer now, in the hundreds. Krieg ran down a hallway and passed an open dorm room door, foolishly not noticing the students trapped inside. The ooze's gathered in three big piles and made three human sized oozes, all taking the shape of a man no one could recognize. It wasn't until Krieg reached the end of the hallway did he realize his error, he quickly ran back down the hall to try and correct his mistake. "We...are...Experta!!!" One of the newly formed oozes said and raised it's hand to the children, it fired out a shadowy blast of energy that was heading straight for them. Krieg arrived just in time to slash the ooze in the back and rederect it's blast to go through the wall next to the students. "Damn..." Was all that Krieg said as he jumped over the oozes and landed in front of the students, trying to protect them.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A little time bought by her wall Elincia ran up to the group. As soon as she saw nothing else happening in the barrier room she had run back out to assist the students."Everyone alright? The barrier's up so I guess it's just these guys left right?" she said. She stepped up to Krieg."Bet you're sure it was nice to see me again now." Elincia said, playing off their meeting exchange.--------------------------------------------------------Ephraim saw something in the corner of his eye."Hesperus, something's up." he said.
