Tempest Dahlia
Hello, people. In case you don't know this, Coudians happen to be one of my favorite archetypes.Well, i've decided to make a contest around the destructive puffballs. -RULES--Deck MUST contain at least 6 cloudians-No more than 40 cards.-Deck can be anything, but i'll need a playbook.-I only need 1 judge, who will be repped.-Follow sept.2009 banlist. Winner recieves 3 reps and 100 points. There's no second place either. (CONTEST ENDS TOMORORROW!!!!!!!!!!) -JUDGE-.Gandora.

LewieGee
Stormy Weather 3x Beast King Barbaros1x Elemental Hero Stratos3x Cloudian - Turbulence3x Cloudian - Storm Dragon3x Cloudian - Smoke Ball3x Cloudian - Sheep Cloud3x Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon3x Destiny Hero - Plasma1x Dandylion 3x Trade-In2x Book of Moon1x Mystical Space Typhoon1x Heavy Storm1x Giant Trunade1x Brain Control1x Scapegoat 2x Bottomless Trap Hole1x Mirror Force1x Call Of The Haunted3x Limit Reverse Deck seeks to use Cloudians for something other than random Counter control.Basic idea is to use tokens and Cloudian summonings to generate Tribute fodder for Plasma, Eye Of The Typhoon and Barbaros. Turbulence quickly summons Smoke Balls for tributing, Sheep Cloud summons tokens for Eye / Plasma, as does Dandylion. Storm Dragon is a quick special summon. Most of the spells / traps are staples, with Scapegoat there for fun with Plasma and 3 Limit Reverses there for reviving little Cloudians. The deck can stall and annoy the opponent before getting out a bigger monster for some beatdown. There's 9 big monsters there, which looks like a lot, but since they're so easy summoned, and because of Trade-In at three, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for you. Also, Barbaros can be summoned without any tributes if needs be. I've ran this deck myself and it's incredibly fun and surprisingly powerful. -Lightray Daedalus-
I recatched my idea...XDMonsters (19)3 x Athena2 x Tethys2 x Hecratice1 x Toon Cannon Soldier3 x Cloudian - Turbulence3 x Cloudian - Storm Dragon3 x Cloudian - Sheep Cloud2 x Cloudian - Smoke BallSpell (14)3 x TToC3 x Lucky Cloud2 x Fog Control 2 x Mass Driver2 x Valhalla2 x SalvageTraps (7)2 x Bottomless Trap Hole1 x Torrential Tribute3 x Threathering Roar1 x Call of the Haunted Basicly the idea is stalll a little but focus on Burn Hard...Athena Mass Driver and TCS are cards that will infilict the damage for you while Cloudian Will take care of 1 thing Swarm like crazy!!!!In card choices Lucky Cloud and Fog control are crucial. Fog control may provide me of necesary Fog counters on cards like turbulence to loop with Smoke ball and burn each Time it is sumoned by athenas effect and then sendhim bac tothe graveyard via cannon or driver.Since the deck is focused mainly on spending the complete hand just to burn a draw engine in requiered so Lucky and Tethys do the work...and yes I said lucky cloud which works really great in this build. And that's basicly what it does----
Guest setojim
My Decklist: Monsters: 18 (Required alteast 6 cloudians)3 Cloudian - Ghost Fog3 Cloudian - Sheep Cloud 3 Beast King Barbaros3 Reptillianne Servant1 Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind3 Thunderking Rai-Oh2 Asura Priest Spells: 14 1 One for One1 Giant Trunade1 Mystical Space Typhoon3 Burden of the Mighty3 Forbidden Chalice2 Kaiser Colosseum2 Diamond Dust Cyclone1 Swords of Concealing Light Traps: 8 3 Royal Oppression2 Skill Drain2 Spatial Collapse1 Solemn Judgment The Idea is to lock your opponent. I couldnt figure out how to do it when i was restricted to atleast 6 cloudians and i was like,"Hey. I can make a Skill Drain type lockdown deck with these!" The basic idea is to play reptillianne servant then set oppression and play Colosseum. This makes it to where they cant normal summon, set, special summon. Swords of concealing Light are there incase you play servant while they have a set monster. It'll stop them from flip summoning that set monster for 2 turns. Another nifty combo in this deck is with servant. It requires Reptilianne Servant, Forbidden Chalice, and Asura Priest. The way it works is: you play forbidden chalice on a face-up reptilianne servant; this negates its "no normal summon" ability allowing you to summon Asura Priest. Not only will it destroy all monsters it can possibly destroy, but it will return to your hand before reptilianne servant's effect causes it to self destruct. Spatial collapse is there to limit the number of cards your opponent can play, which, when combined with the servant-oppression combo, can make it to where your opponent cannot play more than 5 spell or traps and all those monsters in their hand that they need to use to get their combos started are stuck. The cloudians i chose were ones that could be used while oppression and skill drain were up. they may contradict cards in the deck, but they create a nice way of getting rid of my opponent's monsters if they swarmed the field already. I can ram a ghost fog, then use diamond dust cyclone to pop monsters. Sure this combo only works on monsters with more than 3 stars, but most monsters that stay on the field long enough to survive a turn are 4 stars and higher. TheVaron
This is a completely cloudian deck. So if you want a REAL CLOUDIMANZ DECK this would be it. But if you want a cloudian and ____ deck then go for the others Book!!!---Point here is to get out a Nimbus man with TOO MUCH power (if there is such a thing) By pulling the combo of Turbulence--Special a smoke ball- Fog control-- Bring out nimbus manWorks best when you are using the squals. Another possible play is to use the monster's destruction abilities to maintain field and hand control such as having a cirrostratus and a altus with atleast one squal you can use their effects to slap down any opposition. Multiple squals are better than one.
