Muluck
What do you think are some of the most difficult problems faced by parents? One problem that comes to the top of my head is the fact that parents in today's society have to face an extreme amount of double standards. Meaning that everyone is scrutinizing their ability to raise their own children in so many different ways that it causes some parents to just give up. But I believe that if a parent is stead fast to their parental abilities and rules that their children will come out with a fair mindedness that most children will have missed during their childhood. KurashiDragon
I think one of the most difficut problems facing parents is the respect of their children. Children these days have a tendency to disobey and keep away from their parents. This could be because of their friends their activities or because their just not normal. KurashiDragon
I think a solution to that would be to explain the things a kid need to do in order to grow up when their young. Explaining the different types of problems they'll face at an early age and generally accepting what they do outside of the house while gently pushing them away from forms of immaturity. In other words not hanging onto every single bad thing they do and trying to argue.

While you do bring up a good point, you are doing so in a unfavorable manor. @ Cyber Altair, can you think of a good explanation of why your parents might be acting the way you think they are? Yes I can see that, but you also bring in an air of disrespect while slowly turning the conversation of topic. I politely ask of you to use your trolling techniques on some other topic. If you actually are interested in this discussion, then by all means continue to explain your thought, in a respectable manner.

If parents were concerned as you think they are, don't get me wrong some are deeply concerned - a little over concerned if you ask me-, then they would establish rules, and guidelines as well has internet security tools. Can you explain why this would be a struggle for the parents?

At a young age its much easier for kids to trust their parents and their not as influenced by an outside source as they would be when their older so I think it would be a little easier for kids to listen. Yes, but what about when they start going to school and interacting with their friends and start to realize that the world isn't as bad as their parents say it is? I'm one example of this. My father was a drunken abuser and I could've easily learned from him but my mother told me otherwise and now I'm completely clean of every drug on the planet, I'm a pasifist, and overall I've had a good start to the world.
